    I had this exact problem and from experience I can say it was the most excruciating pain I had ever felt. A close family member of mine is a neurologist in NYC, he recommended aquatic rehab, and ice over surgery. I did not have access to a swimming pool as it was winter time when this flare up occurred, so instead I was told to use the bath tub. I would take baths sometimes two to three times per day (sometimes for 1-2 hours per session). I was 40 years of age at the time, and missed several weeks of work as a result (I am an engineer by trade). Within 1 week of constant bathing the nerve pressure was relieved, eventually disappeared and had not returned. I have been pain free for 6 years now. I feel compassion for anyone with herniated disk nerve pain/sciatica as it is truly a debilitating pain beyond words. Not sure about the other techniques tried in this video, but they all look promising. Cheers!

      Cobra Power I hear ya I’ve been there too. Mine was herniated at L5 and sacrum. 4 mos of being bedridden 5 mos of pt and 9 most post injury I’m 95%. I’m so glad to hear you’ve been pain free since!!

    • @TheKorgGadgeter
      @TheKorgGadgeter 2 года назад +2

      I just got over a C6 herniation in my cervical spine. I can't image many injuries worse than this. The pain radiating through the shoulder blade is excruciating. The inability to hold your head up (which made even driving very difficult). You can't sit in a chair for more than a few minutes.
      But the worst was the parasthesia. You can't do anything without your arm going to sleep. And it's front and center in your mind 24/7.
      So after 29 months of this having opted not to have surgery, two failed attempts at physical therapy, what cured me?
      Dr Johnson's homework stretch.
      It must have created negative pressure in my disc and caused it to retract. I don't really know. 29 months of a physical hell fixed in 1.5 days with just one stretch. And because my ortho said herniated discs tend to be weaker even after they have healed, I now do this stretch every time I think I've stressed or tweaked my spine in any way. Running. Sitting too long. Whatever.
      I was literally watching disc replacement videos when I came across one of his uploads. The guy saved me from surgery and gave me my life back.

    I've been going to chiropractors for over 40 years, since I was 18. I have experienced the whole gambit of good ones and bad ones. This treatment, to me, seems like one of the best I've ever seen. His examination was top-notch. If you aren't happy with the chiro that you are seeing, GO FIND ANOTHER ONE! There are some really excellent drs out there, but there are some bottom of the barrel docs, too.
    What do you call the guy that finished *_last_* in medical school? Answer: "Doctor".

    God bless the Chiro's who help so many people with these difficult misalignments which are so painful. I was well served by a Chiropractor. I continued the "decompression therapy" at home using an inversion table and I'm now cured. I require using the inversion table once or twice a year. If you have back problems - seek out a Chiro.

    After a car accident in my late teens i had a bad neck for years until at thirty five it locked up with my head twisted to the right i went to see a very good chiropractor who did that towel on m neck trick after half an hour of heat packs an massage I've had very little trouble ever since i could have kissed his feet it felt so good the relief was something else. Good show hope this lass a lot of pain free life

    I herniated two discs in my lower back skiing and I was on the couch for almost a month. The first week on day 4 I was 100% hallucinating cause I hadn't slept a single minute. Wish I had legimate help like this could have eased the pain much more.

      I feel the potential of it everyday in the morning. I constantly pick up heavy things on the farm, I ride lots of dirt bike trails in the mountains, lots of other sports and activities to strengthen my back while keeping posture correct while doing it and knowing my limits. Gotta keep moving and working the muscles with the correct posture so it holds my back together and supports it. If I sat on a couch my back situation would fall apart very quickly

    I go to a Chiropractor every two weeks for "maintenance". I no longer have any lower back issues (I was diagnosed with a disc bulge ten years ago or so). I know it's anecdotal, but results are results, and no pain is always better than pain.

    A guy like this kept me from getting fused 30 years ago, i ended up having to get a laminectomy due to my heavy lifting which i was told to stop, but a few visits a year to a chiropractor when i get sore and still no fusion of the spine.
    I wish there was a level four care facility near me, my old chiropractor retired many years ago, and there are not any this good around me.
