Absolutely love these guys!
I was at this gig. One of the best live acts ever. Newcastle loved him. First time I saw them they were supporting Nils Lofgren.
Love him to bits. A special bloke and a great band.
I was there too! Traveled from NYC to catch The Jukes @ Newcastle, Glasgow, & Sheffield! ")
Saw them in Glasgow in the Apollo great night in the 70's couldn't beat it!
I came to the USA from Dublin, Ireland just to marry a Jersey Girl. I know first hand what a special type of woman they are.
Although we've been living in Texas for the past 10 years she tells me her heart still belongs to the Jersey Shore and she'll ALWAYS be a Jersey Girl.
don't fight it...
Southside Johnny always rocks !!!
+redhead5150 totally
Great. New Jersey Music at it's best
♥♥♥
Fantastic, and the drummer was superb.
miquelpp He died a while back when he was touring w/ John Eddie in Nevada. Sad.
Thanks, David, I heard about it , some hours later my comment. Really a great drummer.
+David Fiorenza Sad thing but .. look at the people at that weight .. i don't want to be clever but anyways .
Whatever happened to good music!
Sorry but this is very patchy compared with his performance in 1991 at the Stone Pony. I have the laserdisc and bizarre its never been released as a dvd. Like a lot on laserdisc.
+Mark Berthold It has been...its been packaged with a show from the 80s on this DVD: www.rakuten.co.uk/shop/worldofbooks/product/DVDB000IY0BNEVG/?sclid=a_pla_uk_broad&_$ja=tsid:71873|cid:296630916|agid:21232227516|tid:pla-135297885876|crid:73323315756|nw:g|rnd:1776893926065203820|dvc:c|adp:1o1&gclid=CjwKEAiA27G1BRCEopST9M39gykSJADQyqAlQ7-LsFtVpS7Y-_hdMRI_2ldUI4u2r5SV1CpKgpoaURoC3ZPw_wcB
I saw Jonny and the Jukes in concert twice in concert back in the '70s and they were great ..
However in recent years Jonny seems to have lost his voice and it's getting progressively worse..
Perhaps it's to for him to quit ? .
+Barb5001 still great live
After all He is almost 74 years old. And lets face it springsteen NEVER , sounded good
