  • In this episode we have to travel some corrugated roads to get to the heart of the Ningaloo reef.
We had booked a few nights at south lefroy and the day we had to travel the rain came and made the road into the Ningaloo reef even more challenging. We arrived at south lefroy only to find that the camp site we had booked was not caravan friendly. Fortunately we managed to get a few nights at north lefroy and then onto winderabandi point.
We had amazing time at both locations with some travel friends coming to join us at winderabandi which made the stay even more memorable.

If you air down right, your vehicle is set up correctly & you do a reasonable speed, they're not too bad!
Luv Bob's swimming lesson, reminded us of when we tried that with 1 of our staffies. Not a fan either.🤣

I HATE getting bogged ( who does'nt I guess) and doing so with a van in tow raises my stress levels. We are about to tackle the Yardie crossing en route to North Lefroy Ningaloo with a very similar set up to you guys. Your video has been really helpful on two fronts. Firstly, to know that not everyone is a gung ho 4WD'er who welcomes the challenge of a near miss bog; secondly your excellent footage of the terrain so I've got some idea what we can exoect. THANKS

Yet another awesome vid guys....and WOW..a fire from less than 95% of a full firelighter pack....way to go team...and FYI.... D...dont feel bad about no fish...I have had the same problem and I have worked out why it happens, the fishing gods look down upon you, take an instant disliking to you, so go about putting a hell of a lot more water around them...its unavoidable....but just persist because tackle shops need your patronage to feed their kids.. Keep it up troops, and stay safe....Ciao....

Sue and Derek do you guys place your fire lighters on the fire pit screen or on the wood ( a piece of wood between) ?
Was in BCF and the guy told me that fire lighter burn too hot for the screen not sure how true this is. Greatest firepit had one for years only replaced screen once

Hey Derek, thanks so much for the tip! We do place it on the screen so will start placing it on the wood ! Yes it's an awesome pot, should prob get a spare screen (just in case) 😂😂

Have you checked how accurate the tyre deflators are? There are some cheap and nasty ones out there at the moment.

Best way to stop Bobbie peeing on your tyers let him hold the valve covers in his mouth
