I have hdsp 9632 and a two notes captor X Can I connect them together with just the XLR 15pin breakout cable from the hdsp and XLR cable?

@@romichjordan I think they prioritise making good, stable devices. It's kind of their color scheme and that was the ''german'' part - function over form. They do make the ADI in black with the remote and everything to look pretty on a shelf. For me you know it's not gonna act up if it's an RME (unlike UA - hence the reference) - just my two cents. 😀
@@PadreAG sure man, I agreed fully, I have rme ucx 2 hah, they are best, but anyway if they add a black option it will be perfect(like with adi )
I hope this is just an addition and you're not planning on entirely switching from AVB to Dante.

@@Hermiel I was more concerned that RME might ditch AVB in the long run.
@@error8418 One never knows, but I doubt it considering that they've long been in the business of compatibility and format conversion.
Perhaps with RME’s mastery of FPGAs to realize Dante capability, they could make the RJ45 ports support either Dante or AVB on demand.
@@stephenbaum9150 Perhaps. Or perhaps they would simply use the Brooklyn module instead of spending a boatload of development dollars designing their own Dante implementation. 😉
