A lot of people forgetting Wrexham didn't have a game at the weekend and had more recovery time from their last game. Blues, had a game on Saturday where (yet again) a lenient ref let Exeter kick them off the pitch. Blues did control the first half last night and I thought we were comfortable at the break. Wrexham did better second half and resorted to their usual tactic of pumping the ball up to Stephen Fletcher to get their usual 98th minute winner. Overall, really happy with a point.
I think the problem is the service to the strikers. We looked miles better when Anderson came on. An away point is always a good result and this was a very hard fought one versus a team that has an outstanding home record. Hopefully we can get some of our injured players back. Signing a winger on loan may be a good idea.
I'd like to see Chris Davies giving Stanno and May 45 minutes each game at No.9. They both have pace to play out wide but they are both goal scores and poor old Stanno looked lost last night. I really felt for him. What a solid partnership Klara and Davies have. A good point and keeps our unbeaten run going. KRO. SOTV.
My opinion is that were far to slow moving it from defence to midfield to the front. Poor version of Ipswich. The defence is superb.Stansfield looks lost the last couple of games.I thought laird looked injured and wasn't bombing on like he usually does.Good point but we're missing something, kro
Really missed the control Paik and Iwata give us, TGH in particular is a very different sort of player with different strengths. Having said that we've had other tough away games when those two have played. Think we just have to accept we're not going to dominate every game (has any team in history?!).
Agree, dreadful second half, I don't know what happened to our composure. It was like the end of a boxing match when you're waiting for the referee to throw the towel in, an absolute battering.
I'm glad you both raised the subject of the referee and Wrexham's "physical" first half play - they really were practicing the dark arts and several of them should have been booked along with a couple of good penalty shouts for blues.

I feel like Beilik should start in centre midfield. TGH has been solid all season but I'm not sure he can control the midfield and be the composed, reliable passer of the ball that we need from what I saw from the Wrexham game.
Still not sure about the value of Dykes. Yes he is tall and yes he has a presence. However I feel CD should go for a more lethal finisher. However with our regular midfield injured we should celebrate getting a point and more importantly we stopped Wrexham getting close to our league position.

The standard of refereeing generally in this league is abysmal but last night's ref was appalling. I think a draw was far when you take Wrexham's home form and our away form into consideration. #KRO #FEA #ForeverTrueToTheRoyalBlue 💙
I did roll my eyes when Juke came on, great ambassador for the club but I'm really not sure he offers anything meaningful. If CD wanted defence then Hanley was on the bench.
Not going to be a popular opinion but we've had our pants pulled down with Stansfield. He's nowhere near the player he's made out to be, invisible yet again last night. Dykes really starting to prove his worth, Klarer and Davies absolutely outstanding yet again. Alfie still looks lacking in confidence, that again stems from being moved out of the 9 to accommodate Stansfield for months. Really do think signing Stanno was A. Unnecessary and B. Massively overpriced. Really hope he proves me wrong long term 🙏🏼
When are we going to talk about how stansfield looks miles off it and how it affects may… wright looks rusty and not 100% fit but still had more involvement than stansfield.
Hi Gentlemen, good first half Wrexham very physical refereeing very poor , the sooner the better we get out of this league. Stanfield very poor probably the service very poor.. but a good point half the midfield are out injured.. KRO
It's wild. I can't believe I am so disappointed while we are smashing League One. I find myself bored every time I watch us, but I have an understanding that the context is we expect to win most games. However, I just don't understand why Davies is so risk averse... We looked good near the end of the first half from around 30 odd mins when we actually tried to play out the back and keep it in the deck. Then after and before that we just lumped it to the wings playing right into their hands. Really thought Davies would build a proper footballing philosophy but since Shrewsbury it hasn't been that way. I'm done for the season now, I will enjoy celebrating the League One title, but Davies really needs to fix up ready for the Champ.

Our passing at times was poor,ref was awful.we are still 5 points ahead of the Welsh hoof ballers so it's not a bad result.

Completely agree, Rathburn shouldn't have been on the pitch, he got away with a couple of additional yellows.
I was speaking to Son-in-law who's a Glaswegian, he said Wright was always brill for 2nd half sub but starting he always underwhelmed

Before the game I would have been happy with a point against a team with a good home record! They were more peeved than we were!! KRO

I think on similar lines, but in all honesty May and Stansfield didn't get any service, not really. We had 1 shot on target all game, that says a lot.
As good as Leonard is, we missed the other two.
