I cherish every memory i have of playing the OG GOW game with my lil brother and our homie elmer on ps2.. & man, do i envy the fact that you CAN play them, having never before, "Lived," as Kratos.. from the personification, and living embodiment of Power, and completely pure Rage, made manifest in the form of a man.. dismantling an entire panheon of gods, titans, and everything between those to the very Fates themselves... and to bear witness to the absolute Inspiringly, Badass God, Warrior, Father, and all around, just a complete mirror of the burning flame of hatred he once was... I truly hope you are able to play all of the games in the franchise, dawg. At least GOW, #2, 3, then GOW 2018, and Ragnarok.. There's others, and they are still badass, but you hear about everything from those games in all the others, and the main 5 are, simply put, EPIC pieces of gaming history that have been ringing out in the coolest ways since the first one.

I've always wondered why Kratos was confident enough to bring Atreus with him to fight monsters, Valkyries and Berserkers yet he's still afraid to bring him to war when he survived all that. My dumb*ss hit me and didn't realized right away that it wasn't because of Kratos being afraid that Atreus might not survive the war, but he doesn't want Atreus to be like him where he lost everything because of the war.
Kratos was gone Around half a day to a full day, as said by Cory in an the spoiler cast interview. Only like a couple dark elves came every hour or so. Still sick he managed to give him a full day to wake up.
Few actually realize that the the truth behind his silence has more to do with the fact that in Greek mythos he wasn't able to be hexed or bewitched, his constant rage made him immune to it. Realizing that he was completely powerless to it and seeing the danger he put his son through because of it shocked and unsettled him. This was his first true fall to illusions

I've always wondered why Kratos was confident enough to bring Atreus with him to fight monsters, Valkyries and Berserkers yet he's still afraid to bring him to war when he survived all that. My dumb*ss hit me and didn't realized right away that it wasn't because of Kratos being afraid that Atreus might not survive the war, but he doesn't want Atreus to be like him where he lost everything because of the war.
