The engine looks specific to an India spec, my XC90 is a 2 lt turbo and supercharged engine with 316 hp, and if you move one level above to the Hybrid drive train it comes with 455hp.
Since you mentioned about the carrier. As far as I know, carriers are only allowed on commercial vehicle i.e. yellow number plate. I don’t think one would have a yellow number plate on a VOLVO car.
Volvo will have tough time depending only on Petrol version in India 🇮🇳. They should immediately go for Full Hybrid engines to survive in Indian market!
