The internet has created a global community where anyone can share his/her music to a worldwide audience. This will only increase as more African artists are featured in videos such as this one. Props to Easy Languages for not only allowing people to hear how language is spoken 'on the streets' but also bringing cultural awareness to those who otherwise would never know such aspects of a country even exist.
And I've been a fan of Namibia for years. Hopefully I will be able to travel there at some point!

Namibia is the Country where as many as three *West Germanic Languages* are spoken. Namely: English (which is the official Language), Afrikaans and German. Afrikaans is closely related to Dutch which, in turn, can be considered - in many respects - as a "Link Language" between German and English. Probably when you are in Namibia you can freely speak a "new Language" by mixing up English words, Afrikaans (or Dutch) words and German words and, even so, local people will understand you all the same and find you "funny" ;-)

@Richard Kambinda Spasibo ! By the way: unlike what my name suggest, I am not russian... ;-) But italian... But yes, I have some connection with the slavs: an ukranian wife, an half-ukranian daughter, and a "russian like" look... So that many friends called me "the russian" when I played soccer... :-)

I love to get to know new things. Without the internet I would not know EES and his music. That would be bad. Kwaito music is just positive and full of the joys of life. It´s just perfect to make the world a better place. I´m sure a world full of Kwaito music is a world full of dancing people in a very good mood. EES is an idol for everybody and his heart is at the right place. He is simply the best! :-)

I really think internet can help Namibian music to be heard worldwide! Because everyone can access all information from it, we can know everything from the internet. Right now, barely people know about Namibian music and Namibian artists because they lack of promotions! If Namibian music is promoted well (shared on social media or advertised by the government) and if people find it great, everybody will listen to it and automatically they will share it to the other person! Just continue making great song and video!! Someday, people will be familiar with Namibian music and will love it! Just wait!

The unfortunate thing about our Namibian music is the lack of exposure....... our music cannot even be found on RUclips, songs like EFUNDULA by JOSSY Joss have literally gone extinct.....there are so many beautiful songs out there but if they are not accessible on the internet, it basically means a few years later we won't be able to hear them again!! Other African countries have their music on music apps such as Mdundo to mention but a few, which are really good in raising awareness about different genres in Africa. We are not far behind though but yes.......... we can!!!!!!!!!!!!

The largest native language in Namibia is actually Afrikaans. English native speakers make up an incredibly small portion of the population. English was only designated as the official language to make itself more sovereign, in reality, it is not really an English-speaking country.
