At autumn in Russia people celebrate the Teacher's day. This day celebrated at 5th October. The pupils present the flowers and chocolate to teacher and thank teacher for lessons.

As a Canadian, I'd guess this is either Ontario (possibly near Toronto) or BC (near Vancouver)... It could be either one really. The accents would be the same.
