    I have really come to like these videos of yours about the natural world and I think the African Fish Eagle and Secretarybird are my favourite picks from this one. Side note: My Dad has taken work jobs in South Africa in the past and seen some of the wildlife there, he even had an encounter with a Giraffe.

    Fun fact - the prevalent theory as to why it's called the secretary bird is that someone thought it looked like it had quill pens behind its ears!

    I saw my first American Bald Eagle in the wild the other day where it was building a nest. I thought it was a Great Blue Heron until I saw its familiar white head then I flipped out when realized there is nesting pair Bald eagles within walking distance of my home. They like silver carp too!

      Only Americans need feel the need to put “American bald eagle” like those birds only belong to Americans and can’t fly into Canada. Up here we just call them bald eagles only Americans pull goofy shit like that.

    For the larger invasive species such as feral pigs and Himalayan thar in South Africa I bet the top non bird predators such as the big cats african wild dogs spotted hyena and Nile crocodile are a big help in controlling their populations

    We get fish eagles and secretary birds here in my home town. You tend to mostly only hear the eagles, but the secretary birds are not shy and I see them often when doing our local park run.

    That is a nice video. I strongly suspect that the flying bird at 6:58 is actually a Brahminy Kite (of Australasia), rather than an African Fish-Eagle. The colour pattern is strangely similar between the two but the shape is surely different.
