I like the spoken intro. Conor's songs make so many fans feel less alone, so the feeling is mutual. He just expresses his feelings so much better than I ever could.
i saw this posted when i was at work earlier and took a few minutes to listen while i was there. it's just beautiful. tachycardia is one of my favorite tracks from salutations and ruminations. can't wait for the dc show in july!
I brought my Fiance to this concert and she was blown away. We sat next to an American couple who said they were the parents of a high school friend of yours (Conor).
It's a mass grave A dollar-fifty resting place On the north face It's a rope I've gotta climb I'm a stone's throw from everyone I love and know But I can't show up looking like I do In an old suit my hair is slicked back nice and smooth In a court room, sweat rolling down my back It's a bad dream I have it seven times a week No it's not me But I'm the one who has to die Needs a cold draw to slow his tachycardia In a dark bar the world just melts away And you feel fine Your feet can just lose track of time It's a good sign when he can stay awake On a slow day the rain against the windowpane of the cafe She spills the coffee grounds And the same thought hits her like a cinder block Life's an odd job that she don't got the nerve to quit Yeah it's just there At the bottom of those spiral stairs It's the world's fair The future's on display In the still night They turned on the electric lights And the crowd cried out Everyone looks so amazed
Dear Conor, when will I see your face again? Please will someone somehow record the entire show tomorrow night or the one next week or both.. . . before its all gone from us💔 my heartache is obsessive
Hi. Big fan here. I wanted to let you know I have been a long time listener and as an artist it is likely not often to hear, you are heard. Not just admired. I love your new videos. Especially what I had seen for halie Selassie. With that, and a heavy heart, I regret to inform you... When the breakman does eventually turn your way, and your time has come... You will be eternaluzed and I will take on the duty of remastering your discography and releasing the weird al yankovic versions of your songs. 😂❤ Cheers. Long time admirer, Dale. Ps, come back to buffalo and stay to the end so I can have you sign some stuff please.... Just don't leave early again!!!!
Isn't that the only thing that is uniquely yours? Your experience? I mean i know. I know you got your head filled with stuff too. It was frankly intuitive but I never seem to find anyone except conor who isnt even a real friend but its like we cry and get drunk and high together so does it really matter whos guitar your playing around a bondfire with a broken neck guitar like da godamn acoradorian. Who gives a tin whistle if you own half a garbage heap. It all comes to fruition when the good lord takes a break from torturing the intelligence right out of the black hole in your mind. Space and time I and U are completely. O 333 9 27. Hmu man. Can make songs too.
This is beautifully done. I truly appreciate all the work and emotion that went into making this video, so thank you to EVERYONE. You're so very appreciated, appreciated, appreciated.
Here from Elliott Smith. Will be returning. To both, obviously. Edit: Elliott is a dark obsession for me. Everything from his birth to the darkness of his bizarre, mysterious death. It's all so brutal. Reast easy, Elliot. And if you still can't find peach...try your damnedest to rest in contentment.
As you grow up there’s so many things that you’re taught to keep hidden or keep inside yourself. I’ve been making songs pretty much the same way since I was like 12 years old. There’s something inside you that you want to express, and there’s a hope that someone will be on the other side of it to receive it, you know. I think it’s good to feel like your experience isn’t completely unique.
@@MalachiMcNeill I also thought it was about the woman that accused him of rape but then again, if I'm not mistaken, I don't think the case ever went to trial. If someone knows please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, the fact that he sings " no it was not me but I'm the one who has to die " implies that it's a man on trial for murder.

I couldnt have said it better me self. I cant stop listening to him. His music is medicine like no other. I can really explain it to anyone.
Thank you
Thank you Conor for existing.
This song slows my tachycardia. Simply beautiful.

I brought my Fiance to this concert and she was blown away. We sat next to an American couple who said they were the parents of a high school friend of yours (Conor).
Thanks for this one, Conor.
simply beautiful
Thank you, Conor, for your music, emotion, and inspiration. I'm excited to finally see you live on July 14th.
that was a terrific Springfield MO gig!
Just amazing!
Beautiful
It's a mass grave
A dollar-fifty resting place
On the north face
It's a rope I've gotta climb
I'm a stone's throw from everyone I love and know
But I can't show up looking like I do
In an old suit my hair is slicked back nice and smooth
In a court room, sweat rolling down my back
It's a bad dream
I have it seven times a week
No it's not me
But I'm the one who has to die
Needs a cold draw to slow his tachycardia
In a dark bar the world just melts away
And you feel fine
Your feet can just lose track of time
It's a good sign when he can stay awake
On a slow day the rain against the windowpane of the cafe
She spills the coffee grounds
And the same thought hits her like a cinder block
Life's an odd job that she don't got the nerve to quit
Yeah it's just there
At the bottom of those spiral stairs
It's the world's fair
The future's on display
In the still night
They turned on the electric lights
And the crowd cried out
Everyone looks so amazed
touching, such a great interpretation of a great song

Wonderfully shot and recorded.

I love you so much Conor
Great performance!
Brilliant! Wonderful! Congratulations
My fave artist in the Opera house and I had no idea it was happening :(
"It's good to know your experience isn't completely unique" *Doffs cap in agreement.

Shivers, had to share it, Ill remove the plastic and be at a show soonish, always loving the music.
코너오버스트 짱짱맨!!!!!
Love miwi
I hope they post Bedroom Day!
He was tinkering with Bedroom Day at the beginning of this recording.
I noticed that as soon as he started tinkering with it. I hope it gets an official release of some sort.
conor is just meant to do music! i love this song, i got the t-shirt! :)
Funny; was thinking that exact thing watching it- 'Clearly this is what he was born to do.' Decades in and the consistent quality of writing persists.
I wonder what series of events lead to the guitarist playing a bass part with an octave pedal
😍👍🙏🤔👆👌👋🌹💐

in the key of humanity. Ahem... buisy bee nice
pretty good
I wish some one can type out what conor says at the start of this... I suck at spelling and don't wish to mess it up

God I hope he’s ok and that if he’s not he figures it out
Hi Conor, do you know Chad VanGaalen ? I think you could do something great together...cheers!
Better than Beatles Chris from sweden
Anyone want to share their thoughts on the courtroom dream he references?
Darrin Davis probably one of the more powerful lines on the whole album given what happened to him

Probably a nightmare about the false rape accusation
Conor in an opera house seems contradictory
