Which sheet music did you use for this? The Charlie Brown book I have is the easy version and it doesn’t sound as good as this

You want the "A Charlie Brown Christmas - Piano Solo" published by the Hal Leonard Company. There are a lot of beginner books for these pieces that do not adequately capture the complexity of Guaraldi's original recording. I understand your frustration here, believe me. Go to Amazon and search "A Charlie Brown Christmas Piano Solo." The exact book I have is the very first search result at the top of the page (from my view), has 301 reviews, and is priced at $15.29. I hope this helps.
