Is there any chance you're using an older version of Pixelmator Pro? You can check your app version by opening Pixelmator Pro, and choosing Pixelmator Pro > About Pixelmator Pro in the menu bar.

Where did you get the splash from? I'm only seeing a smashed in the brush collection. You didn't actually show the action you took to get the running paint effect.
We actually created the running paint effect ourselves using the Pen tool. However, since using the Pen tool to create this effect would require a completely separate tutorial, we decided not to include that process in this one. It's more of an artistic touch, and we understand that not everyone may want to add it. If you're interested, we've included a Project File in the video description that you can download. This file contains the running paint shape, so you can easily incorporate it into your own designs. Are you guys working on adding generative ai to Pixelmator Pro? Also, I would love to see you bring back color tool icons again like in Pixelmator. That was refreshing.
Generative AI is impressive but demands significant resources, even for Mac chips. We prefer to avoid cloud-based solutions, so we're holding out for more powerful Apple chips to handle on-device processing.
@@PixelmatorVideos What about adding ai features on a smaller scale, to something like the healing brush? It would produce better results for removing objects and replicating the background. just a thought. thx!
We are definitely looking into different AI features that can help make common editing tasks easier. But at the same time, our goal is to create tools that support, rather than replace the work of artists. So, an AI-powered Repair tool would be a great candidate for that, for sure. Im waiting for Pixel Motor Pro to do what Adobe has done with AI generated filler for photos. That would be HUGE.
