I was a bit disappointed tamiya did not rere the original HS2 first but must admit you have got my interest back again on BHM HS2 with this vid! I like some of the new little mods! I think its going to look awesome in person too! Maybe the pictures seen are not doing it justice?
The motor included in these kits is always a talking point but its okay and cool sticker and better then a basic standard silver can but l would love to see a special BHM GT tuned version in their! But definitely a nice touch have a BHM sticker on it.
I must admit l am interested in this buggy again.
But l do hope the HS2 original if and when rere has no changes to it as that's the one l really would like in my collection!Great stuff cheers.

Nice unboxing video. 👍 A new Tamiya RC guidebook in the old classic style would be appricated.

thats one cool looking buggy, I don't get why it gets so much hate from fans... I'm pretty sure that Tamiya will also release the "normal" HotshotII later. Btw I'm about to finish my Hotshot wich I've ordered from you a few weeks ago; this is the first rc car for me and I love it!

I was warming up to this model until he showed the original hot shot 2 box. Now that is how you do box art.

Such a shame that with the special motor decal they didn’t give it a Sport Tuned 😢

Was empfehlst Du zum kaufen der einzubauen Technik? Marke SenderEmpfänger,Servo usw?
Aber wohl um später mal einen brushless Motor ein zu bauen.😅

I had a 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steer rc from about 1982. I was not a Tamiya but looks like the Hot Shot. Would anyone know what the car was called?

Hi, between this and the TAMIYA 58517A Super Hotshot (2012), which would be better for me to go for? thnks

Hello and thank you for the inquiry,
Apart from visually there are not many technical differences here. So basically only the damping via two oil pressure shock absorbers on the Super Hotshot, which experience shows works a little better. Otherwise, you can basically choose your favorite here based on your feelings.

So schön manche der Wiederauflagen auch sind, verstehe ich nicht sie Preispolitik dahinter, viel zu teuer die "alten" Teile, vom Grasshopper mal abgesehen

I love the Hotshot (and own one), I love the Hotshot 2 (and own one), I love the Blockhead Wild One (and own one).
I really dont like the Blockhead Hotshot 2 at all...
