Honestly, not the best of repairs (understatement). However, this is the first resource I could find where one of these devices is taken apart, so thank you, very useful. Some higher quality shots of the back of the PCB (with chips) would be useful.
Great Video ! I'm pretty sure I have to replace my battery, do you have a video on that seems to be plug n play but you know things always isn't that easy.
I did replace it and afterwords it held a charge until it died again. Tried recharging and it would charge after that. Called support and told them i replaced the battery and they told me it was a sidtware issue they cannot revert back. I was going to flash it and reset it but my pc cannot recognize it now. I gave up and bought some anker soundcore hradphones. I'll never buy sennheiser again... @user-vy3ot3lh8o
@@梁骏逸 it's easy, there is almost no electronic inside other speaker. There is long flex cable connecting speaker and microphone (so watch out when opening), battery have orange pull tab to remove glue under the battery and there is connector so no solder.
Placing a beats driver in Sennheiser headphones?
That's like putting a Corolla engine in a Mercedes Benz
Better a Corolla engine than a Renault one lol
@@danielconstantinesLet's make it an S class then

Beats driver on Sennheiser that is blasphemy
Mine had a silicone low density glue around the magnet and diaphragm
How did you unglue it?
@@willbhartley just rip it away and place some new one. But the cable is in the glue, so there you can't remove it.
@@DERLPKOENIG removed it fine.
Hi, I'm trying to replace the battery in my MW3's... can you tell me what size Torx screw they have? Thanks

I searching for replacement drivers, with the same quality, mine probably got damaged.

Sennheiser driver looks like a third-grade quality compared to beats. I wonder, if that does'nt change the sound profile?
Of course it does, this is a terrible fix :p
Sennheiser momentum sounds way better than beats tho🤞🏽
