His intentions are much different now, compared to his past. Before, the most noticeable reason for Ken to fight was following his father’s order to become strong, and to stop terror over his recent years. That time his worries were not so drastic as he already looked out for himself. Now with a family his worries are stretched. Now his situations are much more drastic, with what recently happened, he now prepares his training, whilst having to hide, to protect his loved ones (another thing to note: just realised not all Street Fighter games have all stories in chronological order (e.g. Ken's story in SF3 takes place after SF5))
I know a lot of people are thinking we might get violent Ken, but I feel he's too far gone from the dark hado's grasp even with all the stuff that's happened to him effect (unless he gets brainwashed with Psycho power later on like the original)
Dunno bout that, Ken never underwent the same treatment as Ryu did, where Gouten purge the dark hado in him that was awakened by his fight with Akuma. I feel like Ken still has a very real possibility that the Satsui no Hado awakened in him if you push him too far.
Originally, Violent Ken brainwashed by Bison and was given psycho power. I can see them definitely hinting at something similar, but they might go Satsui this time. Dramatic irony of Ken obtaining psycho power to beat JP (or maybe he already got infected with it during the _incident_ and that thing at the end with JP was it trying to push him to draw on it)
Just saying, JP is playing a very dangerous game in pushing Ken into desperation for his own gains. Ryu may be on the path to enlightenment, but Ken still has a very real possibility to be corrupted by the Satsui no Hado.
Bro I want to have Violent Ken so bad and it could also mean a potential Ryu Vs Violent ken fight. Its weird that ryu and ken didnt interact at all in this game so I maybe Ryu Purifies Violent Ken
This story of Ken is very different from the other Street Fighter games. Street Fighter 2: Ken Marries Eliza Street Fighter 3: Ken wins his third martial arts championship Street Fighter 4: Ken has a newborn son Street Fighter 5: Ken & Eliza hang out about talk about Ryu. But Street Fighter 6.... Ken is in the biggest trouble of his life.
If Ken in this Game taught me anything it's even though your a man on the Run don't forget to pose for a Peace. Lol. And we can still afford Starbucks.

@@Ray-c1r Ryu is no longer the Star plus most of his story in world tour. Man has finally progressed as for ken. Honestly I like it think time for ken to get a little spotlight. Also not only does ken have sweep he got all the crazy kicks. They really made ken feel distinct from ryu

…I can't believe this. Ken's story just…caught me off-guard. I can't even imagine what Ryu might be feeling upon hearing this.
