  • In this video I'm riding up in Happy Jack Recreation Area in SE Wyoming with an awesome crew of the usual suspects: Anders, Anthony, Marc, Devin, and Aaron. We are finishing out an awesome day of riding on a really fun section of the trail network. This includes a short stint on Black Jack, another short leg of Pole Creek, and then finish out on the entire LiMBS trails. This was an incredibly fun section of trail that was often used for the Laramie Mountain Bike Series (RIP).
As you can see it absolutely rips and can be ridden so freakishly fast! The rocks and roots sneak up really fast and can catch a pedal and send you OTB at highway speeds!
If you haven't ridden up at Happy Jack or in Wyoming, you are missing out. Quit sleeping on the rad riding here!

Great example of trails that run great in both directions, that run is also probably the best way to climb up the ridge. Quick and easy climb to the top of Middle Aspen :)

Oh man such a good trail both ways for sure! I loved finishing the LMBS races ON Limbs. So damn fast right to the finish line!

Nice! Yeah, the GoPro can jump around when the harness is a little loose. I actually have a mount with a little longer arm to it so I don't have to run the camera upsidedown and pointed out to get the right angle. Not sure if that is what you are doing, but if so, that can cause more movement. At least I just assumed you were rockin' out and that's why it moved so much...LOL.
    Great riding as always!

Nope using a short arm and all that, just wore it too loose and rocked out way too hard! This trail also had some super rough sections that didn’t help matters! Glad you enjoyed the video Shad and hope all is well with you!!

The GoPro just doesn't do justice to how much fun it is to be threading through and skipping over the top of those blocky rocks. There is serious potential for a bad pedal strike or rim smash if you are really pinning it. Great video!

No doubt. As per the usual the gopro tames everything. LiMBS is so fast and fun but one pedal strike and you become a human bullet! Thanks for watching John, hope you are enjoying your new frame!

Don't a lot of guys do a chin mount? Dang that guy is fast. Your no slouch but he's greased lightning. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I don’t ride with a full face so the chin bar mount is out if question. Funny story about fast boy Anders is he’s a Minnesota native! Thanks for watching Harry!

If you use less brakes you keep up with him just fine :)

I didn’t install sweet brakes to not use them James! Hahaha

It took me like 5 attempts to film that same section last year lol. The "action camera mode" on my cell definitely did not like it

By the way,If you ,one day, want to improve your Mezzer (before selling IT For the newest ultimate uber dupa RockShox fork ;-) send it to NSR Racing For Tuning. Mine is on its way to him now. They make Tunings For the world Cup racers which inofficialy Ride their internals in their fork instead of the marketed Stock forks ;-)
He really works the mezzer through on every part/aspect of the fork
