That looked amazing. I think I would have a problem with the altitude change. MN most my life. Some definite nar and Chuck. But I could pass on bear. Thanks for sharing this with us.

It’s a very tame trail if you ride at a reasonable pace and I think you would have a blast on it! The elevation definitely tried killing me haha

The reroute has been quite polarizing. Some people love it (especially people who like climbing it) and some think think it's boring AF because it is basically just a hiking trail with flat corners and a few kicker rocks (that I suspect were user added) now. I do enjoy riding it in winter on a fatbike. They definitely could have done better, you need only look at East HQ reroute and Cardiac Bypass for examples of great recently built flow trail in Happy Jack.

I really really liked the original haunted forest, but I did enjoy this reroute, especially the added length. Now I unfortunately have been living where descents do not last more than a few seconds which is probably why I was so stoked on it! I can why those flat corners would be annoying, but it gives a good reason to work on cornering. GOAT is still my favorite trail in Happy Jack by far. Is there a lot of horse traffic on this reroute?

Damn, that’s a heavy statement right there. …best trail. Did look sick though! Epic zones I’ve never known! I gotta get out of the state more.

I may have been really hopped up on long descending when I said favorite trail, while this is a fun trail it’s not my favorite haha! But when coming from southeast Minnesota descents to the first descent if they ride being well over a mile long it’s hard not to get too excited! I need to show you around my old stomping grounds! You’d love them!

@@Tkolbo_ Long descents are the best! It would be rad to see your old stomping grounds.

Awesome trail. Now that I did all of Gowdy I have to scout this area too. Looking forward to ride a long descent that'll bust my quads out.

It’s a good time. Completely different terrain than Gowdy so it’s nice having all that variety in the area! Let me know how it goes!

I see that you're still rocking Mezzer in front so I suppose you're still digging it but any chance that you'd drop a long term review on it? Anyway, nice vids and good riding!

I do still enjoy. I suppose I should do a long term review on it eh? What sort of things would you like to know?

@@Tkolbo_ Hmm, maybe something like your general impressions of it and how it compares to other forks you've had, how reliable it has been, what (if any) problems you've had with it (any creaking, bushing play, etc.), how easy/hard was it to get right settings, what are your settings (+your ride weight) that you settled into, have you tested other kind of settings (how they felt), how often you've done maintenance and how easy it is to do and so on. I hope this helps. Anyway, would be nice to hear your thoughts. Thanks! :)
