Sheep Lake Trail || Snowy Range Mountains || Southeast WY

Sheep Lake Trail is a really cool rough trail with a good amount of climbing, boulder fields, creek crossings, and finishes off with some awesome fall line descents. The views along this 9 mile trail are hard to beat. You get to see high alpine meadows, lakes, and mountain peaks throughout the ride.

Snowy Mountain Range is located just a few miles west of Centennial, WY and about 30 miles west of Laramie, WY. There is excellent mountain bike trails, hiking trails, and backpacking routes. Along with great horseback riding.

I'd probably ride it again. Just be prepared because its very raw is spot. The ending is amazing!, but my gopro died before it. Its just a rocky chute down a fall line. I like to ride this trail to rock creek trail and ride that down to arlington. If you do that route you will want to shuttle or else you are looking at a 50 mile day with a ridiculous amount of climbing
