Thanks very much for this video Michael. I'm a senior with limited mobility. I've played for 35 years with a downswing triggered by the left side and at 78, this method has been losing me way too much clubhead speed and resulting in inconsistent contact, when I get tired. One small part of this video has transformed my swing. I hit a lot of balls on the range today and everything was getting worse, until I recalled your description of possible ways to start the downswing with the right side. Thinking of the right thigh and unleashing the torque built up in it during the backswing worked incredibly well. I could not hit a bad shot using this technique even though I had already hit way to many bad ones leading the downswing with the left side. I've tried unsuccessfully to lead the downswing with the trail side hip and knee before but thinking of the right thigh works like magic. This totally new feel, has me understanding the words effortless, loading and releasing and falling thru the shot.
When I make a chip shot, I look at where I want to land a bowl and then I’ll keep my eye on the ball and let my body hit it to where I want it. I don’t know if that makes sense to anybody who does to make good Joe keep up the good work we should do
Being a super senior I find I need to take my trail hip and move it back and forward at a 45 degree angle to promote my shoulder turn. Does that make sense? I guess everyone have different feels in golf.
Great video. Tony Sciolino says hello. We play every Friday.

Excellent
I've been trying to make a centered pivot without letting my hips turn back😂. Thanks for the help.

If the rear hip moves first, how can I keep from early extending or losing posture?
The danger with so much hip rotation is taking the club too far inside at takeaway
How can you make sure that doesn't happen?
Try at least 130 for your slacks, tell me you dont pay for slacks without telling me you dont pay for slacks.
