- During the mid-summer 2020 break, we interviewed some LEC pros and asked them to answer as quickly as they could about a number of different topics, from most annoying champions to OP items and even some out of game questions.
These were some of their answers

I can hear LS malding from here.
Annie's kit is in a really good spot, only change I would make is maybe put her E back to 10 second cool down. The real issue with Annie is her animations are awful and really need a rework. One tricked her for the longest time since pre-season 3, but after branching out to other champions a year or two ago, going back to her just makes the fact her animations are trash stand out even more. Especially after I have been playing a few games of Janna or Senna.
That surprised me she is really broken in low elo.
@@blendon8 Yeah, but i'm just assuming they're only thinking about competitive or at most challenger soloq.
@@blendon8 When talking about if a champion is good or not, you always have to look at it from the perspective of high elo play. You can't call a champion good if it doesn't succeed because of its own abilities but because of the inability of its opponents. Annie is a perfect example of that. Good in low elo where people don't know how to play around her short range and poor wave clear but bad in high elo where she can't even reach anyone without a flash and even then the enemy can get a banshee's veil or something to counter that engage.

my first thought was ivern, but yeah, udyr is better (or worse, i guess xD)
Ivern was played a few times in pro play this year and it was successful :)

I loved the fact that Kai'sa, Xayah while picked almost every game, were the big plays champs and was always so fun to watch. This year there has been a distinct lack of ADC outside of the Utility Marksmen

That's because their weaknesses aren't being abused in your elo. Ofc, garen is also a go to pick for many autofill top laners because he is so easy and has a lot of damage without having to do anything fancy.
@@beiggo21 in fact they are being heavily punished, but that's obviously not a reason for my teamates to pick them every time. :D

Why do people say that garen is useless? If he plays well in a good comp he's so freaking op and useful, being very tanky, has the ability to clear waves fast, has the ability to be anywhere if he builds deads man's plate, has the ability to split, does a lot of damage and he's so easy.. like wtf

I've been following the European league for years back and as far as I can remember Teemo has only been picked *once* and it was due to a lost bet... Not actually cuz they found him useful.
I think it's the only champ I've never seen picked in a sincere manner. 🤔
