With Tyranitar move update it feels like G-Weezing and Ampharos with a very good cheap side move that is spammy and does decent damage, but with Tyranitar it just makes it like super powered up because it hits so hard. Even that Deoxys took one painful hit for a super bulky pokemon as well.

Because medicham, double ice was the first team build people went for, which naturally increases Deoxys leads and smart people then go to Sableye double ice because it beat both Deoxys and medicham lead double ice teams.
Ttar might as well be A slash in this comp, he's just using it for content

You can see the animation of the fast move go through if the opponent did not throw the move. If the animation isn’t happening that means they either have cmp, or didn’t throw a fast move or charge move which is even more unlikely

How good is a great league team consisting of hitmonchan(counter, power up punch, thunder punch), charizard(wing attack, blast burn, dragon claw) and snorlax(lick, body slam) in the current meta

Some pretty good coverage I would say. You might struggle against azu, lanturn and deoxys defense. A lot of neutral play though and the ability to force shields with charizard or close with a shield advantage safe switching snorlax. Also pretty squishy team.
