Love your video! I’m actually aiming to be the best grass type trainer and this makes me happy to know what Zarude is capable of. Though I have to ask. What if you don’t have Zacian and Melmetal? My squad doesn’t consist of legendaries. I don’t have as easy access to rare candies so I work on Psuedos and such. But I for sure want to work on Zarude and Virizion. What would you suggest?

After running some pvpoke matrices, I'd go with the 12/14/12. It has almost identical wins to the hundo and gets a bulkpoint where charm from togekiss does one less damage than if you use the 12/11/15.

Finally got a handful of decent lvl 40 mons but zacian just ruins all of them, a fairy type that beats steel is sooo op! Especially if you dont have metagross
They did shaymin dirty it reaches 4000 cp but it gets hidden power or zen Headbutt. Didn't bother to give it vine whip or magical leaf pfft razor leaf would've been crazy too
My zarude is 10-13-13 Meloetta is -10-12-10 Celebi- 13-13-13 Victini- 12-14-10 I am the garbage king when it comes to mythical. 🤣 Otherwise I would have built ML zarude and victini by now.
Zarude has an interesting type. 4x weak to bug but no one uses bug types in master league😂

I am an year late but i started using lvl40 zarude now in open master league and have sweeped many matches with it.
Ironically common resisted types are mostly in Master League while its weakness types are more common in ultra and great league

Honestly, I think melmetal works better as a ho-oh cover than exca. It's a lot bulkier so it can tank incinerates for longer

For masters, it would be ok. Ideally you want 13 defense for the dialga matchup, but it can do well without it

Yeah hundos are preferred, but you can do well without them! It depends on the pokemon. Dialga, for example, needs 15/14/12 minimums and best buddied
