Hello from New Zealand, I'd just like to thank you for all of your different tips on "getting unstuck" from a stall. I've wrote all those ideas into my journal, so I possibly won't stall for years! (Here's hoping). I really appreciate your style of giving us the templates and quality information so we can do it all ourselves. Great information And. When people ask me how I train I always have described it as Medium heavy, medium, medium light. So they aren't really that different. At 58 I still love to lift. Thanks for all your help!!
Yep, the "heavy" "light" and "medium" winds up being relative to the lift and the lifter, over time. Some guys do better with wider gaps in weight between each day, some do better with smaller offloads. And it can vary from lift to lift. For instance deadlifts might offload 20-30% in some instances and OHP maybe only 5-10%. Just have to pay attention to your own feedback from your lifting and adjust accordingly
Andy Baker, you are awesome!I don’t have two days off (in a row) from work. My days off are Friday and Sunday. I do tons of LSD cardio at work. 10-12 mile weighted hikes. I’m 40. When should my heavy day be? Sunday? I prefer to go heavy with all 3
