Watching this with my wife and her comment was, “why is this guy not famous?” Don’t take that amiss. I realize you’re a working musician and are making it. She just meant you’re as good as the best guitar player she’s ever heard and she doesn’t understand why you’re not a super famous rockstar. It’s a compliment. And also a recognition of how many talented people are out there.
So rude.. man this guy is a working musician and IS making it.
Jk.
Lemmo and Danish Pete; Post-COVID jam. Who’s in?
Man micheals playing is unreal
Yeah, its ultra good today, it just seems different, but in a good way
I hear him channeling some Green/Kirwan/Spencer with a little Randy California thrown in for good measure. Just heard some Alvin Lee
im shocked hes not a massive star, hes so talented its crazy to watch him continue to get better and better
Mr.Lemmo, I just wanted to let you know that a demo like that keeps me picking up the guitar every day. Thanks man.
335. The absolute do all.
Apart from Mike's amazing guitar demos, Jen's "byeeee" has got to be one of the signatures of this channel!
Lemmo is an absolute monster of a guitar player. Versed in so many styles while also having a style all of his own.
Mike, you'll be glad Jen caught this one, it was well worth the price of admission especially the last bit! Thanks Jen Thanks Norm too!
After a day when I received seven new heart stents, Lemmo treats us with a wicked GOTD. Just what I needed.
I got my stent back in August of 2018. When I came out of it i watched the GOTD with Billy Gibbons Broadcaster. Anyway rock on and do what your doctor says. You have some exercise coming up. Be strong and feel better. With the good flow restored to your heart you are going to feel like a new man.
@@jimbonacum8917 Thanks!! Today pushes my stent total well over 30. My cardiologist, who is also a lifetime friend, says I am just too damn stubborn to die. 😆
@@ardiris2715 jeez you have me beat. I thought I was sending some words of encouragement to a novice. I only have one but it was for a 95% blockage in my left anterior descending, My doctor told me I could have dropped dead at any minute. I had been having some chest pain so I went to the doctor to check on it but I had no idea how much trouble I was in. I always say the grim reaper was tapping me on the shoulder and I said, hey man lemme alone, I'm watchin' my show,
@@jimbonacum8917 My numbers are mind boggling - 4 heart attacks, 4 strokes, 2 CABGs (bypasses) and 1 hospice admiision that I survived. Modern medicine is truly a highmark of civilization. Docs cannot prevent recurring events, but they sure can improve your chances of surviving them.
👍🏻👍🏻
@@ardiris2715 @Jim Bonacum Guys, would ya'll mind sharing how old you are and whether the stents were inserted through your wrist or your hip? Also, did ya'll have full recoveries, as in regular exercise, daily life, etc? Oh, and what meds you're on? thanks for sharing, but if not, I totally understand.
The dream of many, the pleasure of few ...
Well, I apparently now need a Deluxe Reverb in my life
There really nice sounding and loud
as always, a true pleasure to listen to and watch. Great stuff, Norm’s!
this guys skill level and music knowledge is amazing......plus....best looper user......
keep coming back to this particular guitar, just sounds so great...I love when a 335 is all jingly n jangly
What a show, what a showman. Thanks for capturing that Jen,
A match made in heaven, this guitar is astounding in tone and vibe. Lemmo's guitar master class for all of us aspiring musicians to consume each and every GOTD. thank you Jen, Norm, Michael, we love you, happy holidays, look forward to many more of these in 2024
One of the best video for Michael! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 Mr Lemo!!! Greetings from Greece! 🇬🇷 Ypu are inspiring man!
I'm in love with that first song so much.

That was incredible! Lemmo unleashed!
Really great playing as usual Michael! Love it.
That was sooooo cooool!!! You're frigin amazing Lemmo, Loved it!!!
This is my fav piece lemmo has done
Great jam today, and kudos for the sound, Jen, (perfect room volume, no flooding reverb nor over compensating limiter, beautiful!).
I love it. I don't know what's got into lemo but his hitting that rock and roll thing. I'm a old school guy and I love hearing the demo with this type music. You go lemo
Wow that’s nice. LEMMO was out of control today ❤️ amazing guitar, my new dream guitar
An amazing guitar!!! Beautiful playing as usual! Love it!!!✌️
Lemmo you are one of the most creative players out there man. Absolutely next level!
That is some kick ass playing. Thx ML!
I had a Black ES-345 back around 1975. I didn't want a 345 or Black, but couldn't afford a new Red 335 and I was able to get the 345 for a really good price. I never quite bonded with the guitar and this guy saw me with it asked if I'd sell it, sold it and then got a Wine Red 335 that I still have all these years later.
Cool guitar ... cool tee shirt :-) Such stellar playing Michael!
This is probably the best jam I’ve heard from Lemmo… unreal man
Another FANTASTIC Video of Michael Lemmo playing the Gibson Guitar. Really enjoyed watching. Allways enjoy your videos, brilliant. Geoff Lewis, Wales, UK, 🏴
Actually the pleasure is ours thanks Michael!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ sounding great
How can people dislike this video ??? Great playing as always Michael!
That was amazing
Holy Moly, Lemmo has just played the Heck Outta that Guitar !! Unreal ability.
Made my day Sounded wicked
That guitar has great tone! It's almost like the more he leaned into it, the better the tone got. Bitchin' in black!! 😎
I have a black 335 also with the larger 59 pick guard. It's from 2010 and I love it! Great playing Michael! 👍
holy smokes there is nothing like a black ES335. Pure class.
I want that guitar 😢😍🎸
WELL DONE MAN!
That sounds amazing!
I’ve said it once but I’ll say it again, Lemmo’s musicianship, tasty phrasing and feel is top shelf=. Next Level !!!! But the best part of it is that it is immensely enjoyable to listen to. Thank you. Michael, don’t forget to listen to Lenny Breau.
whooooooooooooo Rock! sounded awesome!
Great playing Lemmo, and nice gittar!!....🍁
Loved the first song. I have never got on well with 335s, but this video made me want to give it another shot.
Michaels one of the most talented guitarist they are , I’d put him up with all of the big guns out there . Super talented ! Love watching and listening to him play
I'm betting Lemmo gets invited to all the parties in hopes that he'll jam for everyone lol
Great guitar, even greater lemmo demo!
Well, me and Carlos Guitarlos took a little trip in my magic rocket ship. Yeah, we did a line each of some "allergy medicine" at T-Minus 5 seconds Mark stowed away in a New Hummingbird he sent us. The seatbelt light went off two minutes later and Carlos reached under his seat for his trusty frisbee and rolled up a nice one. I reached up and grabbed my sunglasses and pushed the throttle down and we hit 90% the speed of light. Ten million miles out we started picking up MARS Radio and that Guatemalan Gold sizzled the cerebrum. Slow Ride was vibrating the Kickers Carlos had installed. I gave the controls over to Barry 'Piss on Guitar Center' Soetoro who immediately throttled up to warp drive. A Scottish voice came over the Com "Watch out for those Klingons around Uranus". I looked at Soetoro and said "You heard the man" and we all laughed. I grabbed the new Hummingbird to play and Carlos said "Give me" and grabbed it by the headstock and it came right off in his hands. So I took the guitar and bashed it over his head and a note fell out, it was from Mark. It read, "Headstock was already broke, you don't think I'd send you jokers a new Hummingbird do you...HAHA". Butthole. MARS radio began to fade, but NEPTUNE radio was now coming in, I said "Barry, swing us around Neptune and head for home, warp factor two. NEPTUNE Radio was pumping out Pink Floyd's Animals in all its glory. I got on the Com and said "Stallone, we need three cold bottles of Bud up here" "Right away Captain". We cracked them bottles and set a course for the sun ☀️ let go a couple phaser shots into Jupiter on the way, then landed that baby just outside of Norm's Rare Guitars. It was a loud mess when we stepped inside, the loud mess was us, well, mainly Stallone who started pointing at all the guitars he wanted to buy. Norm called the cops and Stallone was once again deported to Guatemala without papers. The universe was once again right and me and Carlos and Barry played rhythm and lead and sang our songs, and got all sorts of drunk after Norm locked the doors.

They can have my Les Paul Troy when they pry it from my dead cold hands
Barry Soetoro Nobody's coming for your LP. Got 5 songs loaded up and 7 more in the bullpen on my favorite tab site. Drinking a beer and playing/singing them songs....baby he's the guitar man...peace...

Elegant guitar, elegant playing too. Inspired!
Lemmo, you have outdone yourself. That first song was beautiful
Wow, those pickups sound amazing!
Excellent work, Michael! Ill take a perfectly new one, I can put plenty of "patina" on one in a short time all by myself, thanks.
Definitely heard some more Hendrix than usual in there today. Killin it once again
I gave my mum the DVD of Roy Orbison in black and white and it's pretty special.
I'd be very happy to get one of the guitars, unfortunately only in dreams, beautiful dreams
the tunes this guy can whip out at at his whim and fancy blow my mind every time.
🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟 Sweet axe!! Love the Murphy Lab aging 😁😁😁
The Music Man stack over his right shoulder is still there!
Wow that man can plays from the heart
Great guitar and even greater playin! Awesome man!
Awesome! Lemmo is a really great guitar player 🙌🏼
What a relief to not be reading snivels about relicing guitars. Great guitar and great playing too.
Nice playing!😎🔥
Amazing demo and fabulous guitar.
i played one of these guitars, and it's beautiful.
Roy Orbison Black & White Night is one of my favorite concert films along with The Last Waltz. Props to M.L. for making that ES-335 sound absolutely amazing.
Damn Mike! That was sick!!!
Great 335! Michael was in the zone!
Lovely stuff, Lemmo.
Lemmo is approaching GOAT territory.
Nice job Michael..
Damn now ..... Once again slayin it
Holy crap!!! That playing was incredible! You don’t see Van Halen being played on that kind of guitar very often. I was never a big fan of the 335 style guitars until I owned one, now they are my favorite.
Only at Norm's. Truly living the dream.
Wow, this guitar is amazing. I guess it sold immediately :D
this is one the best demo videos I've seen in a while
Ditto !
Fantastic music Michael Lemmo your the MAN. 👍 Geoff Lewis Wales UK 🏴
Got a Clapton vibe to the sound of those pick-ups......what a beauty
Great ML played it like a boss
Jesus Christ! Norm whatever you’re paying this guy, double it! That was f’n brilliant Michael. What a killer guitar and man do I like the sound of those pickups👍👏🤟
That guitar is unreal
These Murphy Lab guitars never cease to impress! Love to see them expand pass the Les Paul! However! Gotta do a Maton!
My son now wants a .......Guitar!!!!!!!
That was crazy! great finish with some EVH. That's your best GOTD yet
Damn sweet!
Listen twice!
That was a whole experience
Watch this 👍👍😁 Seems like those 335s and Michael go together like a horse and a carriage. Great playing as always.
Great guitar. Great playing.
Damn... if you ever wanted a demonstration of the total versatility of a 335, it’s this.
This dude rocks 🤘
Bro i love your style 😍
That was probably the best guitar review I’ve ever seen… Holy hell. Lemmo’s playing is goddamn incredible. What pickups are in this particular Muphy Lab?? They sound massive.
Some of your best playing, brother.
Awesome Mike
Can’t wait for the Thumpin’ Thursday vid!
I’ve watched this video so many times, as I fell in love with the Murphy labs ultralight aged 59’! This thing looks so great in black but man, that tone is something else. Dream guitar
Same here. I'm in love with that first song he plays. Wish I knew the name of it.
@@camaro25you worked out what it is yet? I really want to learn it!
@@bluefirefilms5457 Nope. Never found out what song it is, but I still really wanna know. It's so good.
I just picked up one of these in '64 flavor with block inlay. I didn't realize how uncommon black is. I absolutely love mine
Ohhh hell yes!
