    Great review man - thanks for making it

    Theres a point of diminishing returns when using a larger batt for extra power/flight. I've personally found it better to use a smaller mah battery and just expect to get 30 seconds less flight time. The added performance and reducing the power needed for the quads weight really boosts the flight characteristics and is a much more enjoyable or fun flight in my opinion. I dont like when the quad feels too heavy and struggles. I like it agile and light and really responsive so that's why I usually advise against using larger batts for "anywhere acro" and "backyard bashing". They have their place in cinewhoops and 5 inch quads but I feel 3inch and under is just better suited with a lighter load

      Very good advise. I got a 3s tattu 650mah battery I'm going to try once I get my crux back in the air.

      @@BROK3N1MAGE even try out a 450 or 500 If ya get a chance. Youd be surprised how much of a difference that weight makes

      I may go lower weight batteries once I get the money for an insta 360 go2 to put on the crux35. The trick will be getting a battery that is strong enough to fly the quad with the added weight of the insta 360 but light enough to not weight it down more. I'll have to do some experimentation with different size Batts and which work best. Sounds like a good video for the channel in the future 🙂👍

      Mine has felt pretty agile with 850s, but I'm gonna try some 450s next time I fly. I may not know what I'm missing.

      @@kurtzFPV Are the 450's worth a shot? Im ripping around on 650's getting around 8min flight times

    Not sure why your flight time on that battery was so short. I run mine on rdq 850 mah 4s packs and this quad will easily last 5 minutes of aggressive flying. If I'm just cruising it gets 8+ minutes

      Oh man. Last flights I flew on it before my fc went out was 10+ cruise. It was on a 3s bat. I haven't had it in the air sense. Can't find a flight controller/esc compatible with it. Haven't flown in over a year. Just sitting collecting dust 😅

    Is it possible to run this with 3S battery?

    did you do any upgrades to this drone? What's the best way to power a Runcam Thumb on this drone?

    • @BROK3N1MAGE
      @BROK3N1MAGE  2 года назад

      I have all original parts. Nothing is upgraded. I had to replace the flight controller back when I blew an esc, and I was going to put xing motors on it. But I decided against it. The drone preforms great with stock parts imo.
      As far as a rubcam thumb. I honestly wouldn't know how to wire it up. I have a insta360 go 2 on mine. It has an internal battery. However, I have hear people wiring their action cameras to either the battery leads. Like get an xt30 male to female adapter and stick it between the lead coming from the quad and the battery. I'm not sure if the flight controller has a pad you can solder your runcam too. It may.

      I sure did. I tried making a video of the replacement but it was close to 3 hours long 😅. My crux35 is back in the air though. Weather has been kinda poor lately. I try and get in the air when I can. 👍 thank you for your concern also. Me and the family are doing great!
