I'm using a normal stereo speaker setup with 5in speakers. I can hear a ton of bass as well. It's likely how they EQ'd it. A lot of people push the bass because we hear ourselves "more bassy" than others do. This way you get a product that's more inline with how you hear your own voice. You hear it a ton in radio.
Not something I generally think about, but Anthony today really made me think - "this dude is absolutely perfect for this type of work" - brilliant warm and clear voice, comes across as very knowledgeable and an affable screen personality, most likely 100% genuine. He sure is a perfectly polished diamond at LTT, don't lose this gem! BTW - the LTT team overall is great, but Linus himself and Anthony really do stand out. Whoever does the hiring at LTT (Linus wife?) does a great job finding these nuggets or people just naturally shine at this place.

Remember that NVidia threw a temper tantrum at, I think it was Hardware Unboxed for not emphasizing the wonderful world of ray tracing some time after this? Maybe Anthony saw NVidia reps pressuring him to emphasize ray tracing and decided that the smooth way was to go along, but subvert it with a suppressed giggle and an awkward pause.

I absolutely love the left-in pauses. They're great! As for the 2070 Super, I was gifted one from a friend's company and I shoved it into my used Mouse desktop. I also replaced the power supply, added a 3rd backup drive, and upgraded the RAM (16GB, meh, but oh well). It definitely outperforms every other component on the computer lol
This isn't the first time they have (d)ucked their customers. Look at how the titan x, 1080 ti, titan xp debacle went. And that was their "flagship" card! People spent a grand a card to get told a cheaper one was faster like 2 months later.

@Revolvin Goatt There's a price you have to pay to have the top product for a longer period of time. It's not like you aren't getting what you pay for. The RTX 2070 isn't any worse today than it was on launch. If anything, it's better.

I know this comment is so late it's almost irrelevant, but another interesting tidbit regarding this series of Super cards that water blocks for the 2080 founder's edition also fit the 2070 Super FE perfectly, as if the same PCB was used. Imagine that...
@Patrick Burwash Not entirely, if it was spec to spec than yes but because they aren't the same and are basically reduced versions, that isn't the case at all. The 2060 Super is probably the best buy when you are comparing it based on performance per dollar but the 2070 super is not a 2080 and has several reduced specs that don't actually meet up to the 2080.

As for the 2070 Super, I was gifted one from a friend's company and I shoved it into my used Mouse desktop. I also replaced the power supply, added a 3rd backup drive, and upgraded the RAM (16GB, meh, but oh well). It definitely outperforms every other component on the computer lol

This isn't the first time they have (d)ucked their customers. Look at how the titan x, 1080 ti, titan xp debacle went. And that was their "flagship" card! People spent a grand a card to get told a cheaper one was faster like 2 months later.
I mean the 2080ti isn't obsolete nether is the 2080 or 2070. All of them are still beasts.
If you wanted the last one, just buy it when it's released and not months later. 😂

What I meant is: if you buy a phone months after it's release, don't feel surprised that you may encounter a fresh new release just a few weeks later. If you want the latest stuff, buy it around when it's released. 😉

@Revolvin Goatt There's a price you have to pay to have the top product for a longer period of time. It's not like you aren't getting what you pay for. The RTX 2070 isn't any worse today than it was on launch. If anything, it's better.

@Patrick Burwash Not entirely, if it was spec to spec than yes but because they aren't the same and are basically reduced versions, that isn't the case at all. The 2060 Super is probably the best buy when you are comparing it based on performance per dollar but the 2070 super is not a 2080 and has several reduced specs that don't actually meet up to the 2080.

If you look closely, the 2018 "super" in 0:04 is just a piece of green tape with "super" written on it, the both others are original. Probably they don't have a 2080 super (yet ?).
