Reyes you should try Wonka Nerd gumballs or another kind of specialty gumballs in your machines! They do really well for us, nearly ten fold sales compared to regular Dubble Bubble. You've got some quality machines and glad to see your collection still in the green! Keep at it bro!

As for other candy like Skittles, Peanut M&M's and Reese's Pieces we primarily shop at Sam's Club! The custom gumballs are really neat though and people love the uniqueness.

We ended up picking up a 5 row snack machine recently for our business. We make everything we are going to sell in it. We found our machine at a state surplus auction and paid under $200 for a $1800-3000 machine.
Reyes, If you're looking for good used machines, I've always had great luck with Northwestern machines, they are built like tanks and I've never had a mechanism failure. They are usually pretty easy to find online and cost to value is really good.

The gym is a good spot to put candy. I know powerlifters and strongmen eat sugar for their lifts. I dont know the reason but I do know they utilize sugar.

Laundromat = Candy! As people wanna snack while they wait
Canteens = Vending machines
Veterinaries = Candy. Kids wait with their parents with sick puppies etc
Dentist = Toothpaste / Sugar free Gum/ Floss ( patients waiting wont want to stink for their dentist visit)
Pizzeria = Candy. Dessert after the pizza
AutoBody Shop = 3 head Candy/Toys. parents will snack on candy and might have kids with them and v bored. if not they might bring toys home to kids.

However you would probably have to supply the K Cup machine. But, many people are tired of rot gut coffee that is sold in the commercial machines. Like yourself, many people don't know about these either.

You should do chip flavors and brands you don't normally see in vending machines like Takis
I used to have a store and allowed a candy machine to be placed. It was a great location for the candy machine guy.
First he placed 3 head. Then a bigger rotating 8. 4 top and 4 bottom. I remember speaking to him and giving him feedback about the sells of candy.
In my machine the basic skittles and chocolate m&m wouldn’t sell as much. The candy that sold the most was always candy out the normal. M&Ms peanuts. Some red candy covered peanuts. Some trail mix candy. The candy fruit looking pieces.
Okay my view in observation was that the candy sold itself by how people viewed it.
For example. Many times the kids will stop their parents for a quarter. The kid will point at candy machine and ask for a quarter. The parent will look at the candy machine and subconsciously pick out a candy that they can both enjoy and share. Once they put in the first quarter. They probably go back after digging for another quarter.
My point is you have many eyes on your machines. Pick an item on your machine that caters to the customers to that business. Minty gum for the gym when they’re working out. Something with peanuts in the barbershop for those that are hungry waiting for a cut.
Treat each candy machine account like it’s own business with its own finance and data research.
Sam walten biggest secret was that he ran each Walmart like it’s own business. That’s how he was able to cater to the locals.
Oh and one last thing. Make little diy print out stickers in the back with your info. Get a virtual number from a place like from CallRail where you can create each candy machine to have its own phone number (helpful so no one spams your phone line, if you have a problem you just change the number and it doesn’t effect anyone else) . So when someone calls, you know exactly where the call is coming from. Works great for referrals.
Extra; use a app called MapMyCustomer. It allows you to organize customers and their location. I had a window washing business. It helped me hugely because seeing those dots in the map felt so good.
Reyes...you are doing it man. You re already in the business so there is no need to give up. Eventually you re going to have more profits and you can move your machines to other locations. Also, I have a few machines near the competition machine cause the competition is not doing their job..so basically thats a good opportunity for you. There are no rules related to this. I also try to give some time to collect..like 3 months, running to the places on a monthly basis is too much work. Take care man.

DUDE! One way you can make passive income is setting up affiliate programs with different gumball machine vendors. You could also make each one of these businesses you look into a Course and sell it. But you might have to take out the "free 99" parts.
Why don’t you put a 3 head at that barber shop instead of only having skittles as an option? Or change it out for only gumballs make the most profit out of little amount of money it takes in.

Putting a vending machine next to the competition is like staying in another dogs territory
But Reeeeeeyes, full line with snacks is a lot more work than just soda. I'm up to 12 locations with only soda. Making good money. Less inventory to keep on hand as it's only sodas. You don't have to focus as much on expiration dates (mainly just diet sodas). Think: less shopping, less to pay attention with dates, less time. . . more money! Then when there are great soda sales you can really stock up as you are going to use it more locations. Amazing margins with less loss.
