I've been in conflict with my partner over our spiritual/religious beliefs. In a previous relationship when the same conflict came up, I angrily stood my ground and had to sadly walk away from the connection because I refused to be converted. This time, the same type of thing is happening and I've been struggling with the idea of feeling like I'm being recruited (hence bitterness and frustration at not being fully heard) and yet feeling divinely guided to explore a different branch of their faith. Okay Ediya, this is absolutely crazy. I was going to go for stack number two and I listened a bit until I felt like I actually had to be at three. Group 2 - Ironically I tend to walk away from things that I really want. It’s because I really do not enjoy the feeling of being desperate and being anxious about the outcome, so I lie to myself that I really don’t want it and walk away. This time I won’t.
