Me too brother, the 90s ruled, I was fortunate enough to play on some international tours myself, on lead guitar - the ladies, the music, the energy, the people were absolutely the best thing I've ever experienced. Not to mention we were truly free in every way and people didn't judge others like today. Today we live in 1984 or so it seems. Cheers and shred on.
@@montyrayza7220 that's fantastic! I've been fortunate enough to play in several bands, since the 90's. I wasn't able to go on any major tours, or play for larger crowds. That was always my dream but, I joined the Army in 1999 and that pretty much killed that dream.
Thank you so much and God bless you a million times for posting this great and precious concert video. I truly regret not seeing them during this time period. They were high energy.
Vince's daughter had died of cancer when she was only four years old, just two years before this concert. It was a very hard blow that has deeply scarred Vince to this day.
@@TheRobsam @TheRobsam He always had a way better rhythm sound than just about any guitarist except for maybe EVH and that is 50% in the hands not to mention his incredible song writing and extremely catchy leads. The Crue are one of the biggest bands in history largely because of Mick Mars. And the most important thing, no player is more sonically recognizable because of his tone and style. Steve Via obviously has better technique and a way more out there style but Mick is a king among players as well. If you want to judge that era on technique alone Malmsteen destroyed Via and everyone else but those guys are all boring as shit after a while and I know because I was a part of that era and could play all that stuff as well as they could long before RUclips.
Like you're a fucking supermodel. At least he's richer than you'll be in 10 lifetimes. Also a well known rock musician. What the fuck have you done with your life besides talking shit on the internet?
Who is the zany guy playing second guitar in Steve Vai's band? He's great. (anyone know who bass and drum in that band are too?) Steve Vai is the best thing here. Though I'm someone who doesn't even think Motley Crue were great in their prime, and this is WELL after their prime.
This is proof that Tommy at one time was one of the best rock drummers of all time. Several times the Crue nearly came off the tracks in this show seemed like he somehow held them together. I love everything from Feelgood back but honestly they probably should’ve kept Corabi in hindsight at least but they were touring their worst album here. I would’ve rather heard Misunderstood than Glitter for sure, and Hammered or Hooligans Holiday instead of Generation Swine but Vince wasn’t going to sing Hammered even if he could’ve now would he. I’m not hating on Vince he was probably the only one who still wanted to play Crue style music by this point but they could’ve helped him out a little bit they always tuned down to D , C sharp would’ve helped him and probably just made them sound heavier but I guess he was hit or miss in his prime.
Vince Neil was horrible live even then. How hard is it to sing intelligibly and the entire lyric? It looks like the others were actually playing their instruments, and Mick Mars is always great, but ive Motley Crue has been a joke for a while as far as Vince is concerned.
Getting rid of Mick was a smart move! Saw them last week with John 5, and he makes Mick’s playing sound like a joke! The fact that 12,000 people showed up proves they don’t need Mick!!
He's non other than Mr Mike Keneally, one of the greatest musicians alive. He also played with Zappa, enough said. Exceptionally good piano player too, he has done some renditions of famous Vai songs on piano that will blow your mind!
Eh, Listen to his solo albums, amazing bluesy country rock, I'd say his 2015 effort Book of Shadows II, is as good as the first Skynyrd album. His voice aged so well, like a fine wine and sounds better now than it did back in the 90's
This is the version of Zakk i love. Such a badass!🎉😂
Amen to that!
Steve Vai is amazing! But of course everything is amazing - good old times.

Black Label Society
Exactly...
Rare that you hear Vai play anything from the Fire Garden album. This was awesome! Kick ass post!
The energy of motley crue is amazing
Good to Vai and Mike Keneally 💯🎶
and Mike Mangini!
Cool live footage of Zakk and Steve!

Zakk is like a fine wine, he gets better with age.
Crue is impressive good, Vince at his best, Mick Mars always impressive as a single guitar player on stage. Thank you my friend for putting this on YT
Cool Zakk
This is Outstanding! Excellent Year! Excellent Music!
Love those taped backing vocals on Dr. Feelgood 😂Nikki couldn’t even get to the mic in time for the first one.
It's always been that way don't ever remember Nikki and Mick sounding like two black ladies. They have always used those canned vocals for that song.
@@garychilders2937Yup used them for Feelgood since day one.

the best vai album !!!!!
AAAH YEAH SOOO FUN AND GREAT and in the NOW.....KENNEDY 2024...PASS IT ON!!

Even back then Vince was singing half lyrics
Yeah man I’m starting to realise that hes always sucked
Saw them on the strip in the 80’s. Actually good shows. But, yeah, Vince wasn’t in too good of shape as of this concert.

Bad ass !!!!! I never knew they all toured together phenominal...Thank you !!!

Mike Keneally is the Ginger Rogers of guitar -- he had to do everything Steve Vai did, but backwards and in heels. 😄
I am living at very close to this place.
Today, kpop boys bands hold concert in here.
Motley Crue is monster of rock ...
Vince sounds good.
un gran concierto
I like Zakk's version of 'Mama; I'm Coming Home' better than Ozzy's, I feel it when Zakk sings it.
Lemmy's better. He wrote it
@@richardayala3748
I didn't know that.
I agree, Zakk knows how to evoke feelings in his fans. He's actually gotten better in his singing & guitar playing as he's gotten older.
@@richardayala3748 yeah but there's no Lemmys version of this song
back in the days before Vince discovered KFC
If you think he’s fat, you should look up that slob Wolfgang Van Halen. He will be with his dad, Deadie very soon from a heart attack
Vince has a typical 60 year old belly. You wanna see obese, look up Wolfgang Van Halen. Like beyond obese!

I'll start by saying that I'm aware that I'll take the insults, but for me Steve Vai has always been more staging and all smoke and no fire.

Mangini ripping it up with Vai
When Zakk was great,..pre biker beard……he hasn’t been near as good in the last 20+ yrs
Steve vai is bill nye the science guy but with super guitar flamboyance
