Our opinions may differ on characters and sagas but without a doubt we were all running home all saw these promos felt these chills. It brings people together from all walks of life. I find it truly fitting that on the back of each blue ray box of the dragon ball z series it is inscribed with the words ‘Legends Never Die’.

But the thing is when you were a kid growing up they still had apps where you could watch anime back then we didn't have anime apps, we had Toonami. And back then you couldn't just look up an episode you had missed you had to wait for them to play reruns until they got the new episodes in so if you didn't want to miss anything you had to basically run your ass home from school that day just to catch up watch Toonami and hope to God that you didn't miss any of your favorite shows like Dragon Ball Z or Dragon Ball or G Gundam.
Although it notoriously dragged for so long, this episode had INCREDIBLE moments. Also nostalgic for me since it was the first time I caught the show properly on Cartoon Network.

This is example of how English/American Dubs made DragonBall Z 10x more epic in implementing English, Music and Trailers/Promos to hype it up. Toonami & Adult Swim was great in introducing Anime Series to American Audiences back in the 90s and early 2000s.. Now watching DBZ in Japanese Dubs is overall unbearable in comparison just like 90% of their subs outside of Naruto Shippuden and thats because Disney did the English Dubs for Naruto Shippuden. So you knew from.the jump they would be horrible.
