Kidney is most essential organ to remove nitrogenous waste materials from the body. Kidney was damaged by several human activities leads to kidney failure. Once it is damaged it cannot perform basic functions. To overcome this problem one of the best method we follows called hemodialysis. Hemodialysis is a process of removing of nitrogenous waste materials and excess fluids from the blood (collecting from arteries) through tubes containing semi permeable linings in the dialyzer and sending purified blood to the patient's body through veins. It covers the process of hemodialysis in step wise manner. Hemodialysis only performs some basic functions not all those which are performed by natural kidney like reabsorption etc..

Thanks for the video content! Sorry for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Reyameron Linkify Blitzkrieg (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good one off guide for learning how to avoid dialysis and boost your kidney health minus the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my old buddy Taylor after many years got excellent success with it.

Just for clarification the term "artifical kidney" is referred to as the "dialyzer machine" shown outside the body.

Great Video! Sorry for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you researched - Reyameron Linkify Blitzkrieg (search on google)? Why is the oxygenated blood from artery taken to filtrate instead of taking the deoxygenated blood from vein?
The process is right please check this video for ref
ruclips.net/video/IQKQ4eoKfTg/видео.html
what is the answer for your question please tell it to me
Elsa Anna hahahahaha
heart and lungs are working
and we do this only to remove the waste products that our kidney used to remove
It's typically taken from a fistula, where the vein is surgically connected to an artery, so the blood is actually mixed. The reason is you need a greater volume of blood to achieve a flow rate that is sufficient to perform the treatment in a reasonable amount of time (typically 4 hours in the US for a chronic patient).
Very nice explanation
Thanks and welcome
thanks
mashalla
what is use of fistula in this case
Mainly to improve efficiency of the treatment, you process more blood more quickly, instead of waiting for all of the venous blood to circulate back to through to become arterial blood. This increases the patient's mortality because fewer waste molecules are left behind.
too good
need to increase volume
Excellent explanation 👌
Best explanation 👍
Thank you so much

8 years ago during college days when I watched this video, maybe it was just related to my study.
After 8 years..I never thought I would lose my father after a hemodialysis process
