He didn't say anything about Vince being in it solely for the money. Obviously he's in it for the music first or he wouldn't put such a focus on quality and lyricism as displayed in this song. He's just saying he doesn't display those egocentric tendencies that you tend to see in a lot of rappers. Plus since it is how he makes money it is his chosen profession and way of making a living. Rappers gotta eat too.

Summertime is probably the most underrated album that came out last year. It had a lot of great meanings and the production was all out. It probably could have been a bit shorter tho
don't agree with the could have been shorter bit, brother. The whole album is great, the only song I kinda dislike is Might Be Wrong. I agree with everything else though. Vince is a mothafucking legend.

When I first fell in love with this album this was the only song i used to skip. It's my favourite song now, I don't skip anything. This album is flawless and i wish i had it on vinyl. It's better than dantes inferno, ulysses, proust.. it's what they tried to write. Its changed my life. I feel baller, i fucking cry...
It's been years of listening to this but his words are still impacting me.. I'm in hospital with endocarditis from iv heroin use, my heart failing. It might sound stupid but I've just kept listening to vince and I'm like, getting clean. I believe he had something to do with that.
