Everyone says you want to get the box as far forward as possible. That ended up being a lot further forward than I expected. Yeah and then before I weld anything I set everything in place and just look and see if the tie rod looks right and the pitman arms not gonna hit. Etc. it’s a lot of trial and error and measuring and moving and getting things clamped in place and looking at it. 😂
Glad to see you making moves on the old truck 👏🏼
Thanks 👍Me too!
Good day of getting work done on the truck 🎉
Nice toolbox too
Yes it was.
Can't wait to take a trip in this mint rig!
cant wait to see it steering on the trail!
Looking forward to that myself. 😎
It's got a cam in it to pull those grades!
nice job mr Gringo , where did you bought everything that you use ?
Much appreciated. Doing the same on an 85, what front leaf springs are you running and do you like them?
All pro 4” lift front springs that are stock length. They flex pretty well but not as good as a longer spring would.
When you put the steering box in what do you have to look for to make sure it’s in the right spot

Hi, what shocks are you using? I have to change my, but I don't know what to choose
@mauriciogonzalez9337 Bilsteins
Did you build the high steer or buy a kit?
I used the all pro high steer kit and a front range off road ifs box mount.
What vehicle did you get the steering box from?
@@winchoutdoors Is that the same as the Trail Gear kit?
