Slow horses was just awesome, thrilling entertainment, excellent character development, amazing storytelling. Sadly Idris Elba’s character in Hi Jack could have been penned with a crayon. It was so filled with plot holes, it just made it hard to become invested. I agree that the plots don’t seem to work.

Yeah, I could suspend disbelief enough for Hijack to work for me, but I don't think the story bore close analysis.
