I would love to see your reaction to "Al Murray vs America". Al Murray's a highly educated well spoken guy and a comedian, who plays a character called "The pub landlord". As the pub landlord he's a working class no-nonsense nationalist who disparages the rest of the world without mercy. I promise you, he's absolutely hillarious. Give it a go, for a funnier verion of what the English think of America. It also offers an insight into English humour.
Coach I'm sorry but I'm a white 23 year old male. I have had to deal with harassment and aggressive behavior from young cops. Most older cops are either competent or behind a desk. Young cops are unpredictable. My mother was stalked by one and I personally witnessed a 20 year old cop off duty pulling his gun in and out of its holster and saying " I wish someone would" over and over. I've come across three older corrupt cops but they are generally nonviolent. Those are the ones that sit and watch over major drug operations. They would shoot you if you tried to rip off the lab though. Just saying it ain't all rainbows and sunshine for a white guy either. Love watching your reactions because it's kind of like having a conversation without the awkward necessity of reacting in real time to questions and or comments that truly take time to form an accurate picture of.
I think when she says Americans think of it as the center of the universe she means many Americans come across as being incredibly naive and lacking in awareness of the rest of the world. As an Australian i have found this true of many of the Americans i have met but there are some very insular people all around the world so it might not just be an American thing. Love your videos mate
Lol!! I knew that ' LOUD' would come up alot. Maybe it's me...but..there does seem to be one accent that rises up above all the others, across a crowded restaurant..lol. But friendly folk.
True we only have ever had the Beatles in the 60`s then a long gap before The Spice Girls came along, they modelled their sound and look on the Beatles by the way, Scary was Lennon

I'm italian (not british, sorry for eng); maybe the girl who talk about the middle america it refers to a kind of political/cultural division, in my country the so-called middle america is that more deep and true and it descripted as bigot, rural, closed etc and usually it's opposed to the america overlooking on the oceans, that of California, NY etc, in short that liberal, open minded and modern. This is my interpretation, based on how USA is described in my country, but again ... I'm not british and probably it's different for them. PS I forgot, of course this type of "america" description includes also cities or states who are not located on the ocean but which are considered liberal (Chicago or Colorado for example).
The person asking the questions picked a certain age group in London at a certain period of time. In terms of dislikes they will respond based on what's been happening in the news so mentioning Trump might be a quick answer. It would be the same as tarring the whole of the UK based on a US tourist's opinion after spending 2 days in London. I spent 2 or 3 months in the US in various states and enjoyed it. I hope to go back at some point for a motorbike tour
i almost see american like...the younger cousin of europe, still trying to throw those wild parties while europe roll their eyes as they have their ways more settled. The states are still young, only couple hundred years, while europe has taken thousands to get their shit together.
Some Brits don't want to visit certain parts of the USA in case the DON jumps out at them. This is what the divisiveness of American politics encourages people to think. Political hysteria encouraged by media. Watch Clarkson on Top Gear if you want to know what an English gentleman thinks of America. Love your work btw
The best music in the world comes from America. The Blues, Jazz, Rap and country music. I'm not American but I love the music from there, it's amazing.
England is a country in its own right. Great Britain is formed of England, Scotland & Wales. The United Kingdom of Great Britain is formed of England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland. They were in London so were in England.
I do hope you enjoy your visit to the UK. It's an interesting country with a lot of depth to it. I've travelled a bit, and I think it helps one get a more objective view of ones own country. I've been to the States a couple of times, years back - but to be honest I wouldn't go again. These days it looks pretty scary to me - Trump/Q crazies, more and more people shooting each other, racist cops, no universal healthcare, even democracy under attack - and too many people just seem to go along with it. Oops ranted a bit there! Best wishes from London. P.s. catch some rugby!
I just want to say that London isn't an English national opinion and the channel creator should have travelled to regional Cities to get a more national diversity of opinions. London is a South East region and other Cities that should have been included at minimum are Bristol South West, Birmingham Midlands, Manchester North and Southampton South. So as far as I'm concerned London are a region and do not fully represent England.

If you think the best music comes from America you need to widen your music library

What do you mean by England? do you refer at a certain region of UK or the entire island?

The views in Southampton & Bristol, an hour & a half from London won't differ greatly.
