How to Use Any GIF or Video as your TikTok Profile Picture

There aren’t many exciting ways to spice up your TikTok profile picture, but using a GIF or video instead of a static image is one way to do that! In this tutorial, we show you how to take any GIF or video and make it your TikTok profile picture. This can be done on your phone or computer (both iOS and Android devices) since the tool we’re using is completely online. To use a GIF/video as your profile picture, it will need to be in the MP4 file format and have a 1:1 aspect ratio, tasks which Kapwing can help you complete.
How to use a GIF or video as your TikTok profile pic:
1. Upload your GIF/video to Kapwing
2. Resize it to 1:1 aspect ratio
3. Export & download
4. Go to your TikTok profile, click “Edit Profile” and “Change Video”

Whenever i upload it to tiktok , why does the animation go slow when its actually faster when you make , is their like a specific fix to it or is it just tiktok
If this process does not work then go to edit profile and pick change video and put something there that you want 😁

I think it might be easier to just screen record the gif and then crop it. TikTok will still take it as a video
@vonzsquiddy you just screem record the gif and then crop the screen recording so its just the gif and into 1:1

Are you using an iOS device? If you are, on the page where it takes you to the video/GIF you'll need to press the icon with the arrow going up and then click "Save video"

Umm if this does not work go to your edit profile and put your video in change video this process is extremely complicated and if you want to only take 2 minutes do the one that I told you
Or add the gif to cap cut and save it. Then add to video on tik tok. So much easier and faster

You don’t need kapwing just save the video or gif to your camera roll then go to TikTok then click me in the bottom right then edit profile click change video then chose one
