    Fantastic idea!! It's nice to know I'm not the only women who loves being in the workshop and creating things :) Will definatly be doing this for my dog. He will love this. plus it will stop my daughter accidently tipping his bowls over when shes crawling around. Thanks!!

    I like your design, but I would have put the side pieces under the top piece, instead of along side the top piece's edges. That way there are no grooves/cracks for water and dog food dust to get caught in. The top would be smooth all the way to the edge.

    I love it. I'm using yours as an inspiration to make mine for my 2 huskies with a larger water dish in the center. I bought a Kreg jig today & I'm trying to figure out how to use it. I wish you woukd have gone into more detail on that. But I do love it.

    Did a fine job but I’d suggest using a c-clamp to hold the wood down in place before using a saw to cut. Overall great vid 👍🏽👍🏽

    Enjoyed the video, looks beautiful.

    This may be a feeding station for everyone else but for me it is, another wooden platform for my do to chew on, lol. Hopefully he won't bite it and he'll only use it for eating and drinking!😊

    11:56 A 3/4" or 1/2" piece of scrap wood under that leg would hold everything level and make the entire process much easier while you are screwing it together.

    Maverick is such a cutie. I`m sure he`s a wonderful new addition to your family : ) He sure is one blessed little puppy to get a custom-made dog bowl stand! We tried one of these out for our Springer Spaniel, but he was so used to me holding his dish up for him when he eats (messy eater and it`s also better for digestion) that he wouldn`t have anything to do with it! So spoiled! I guess you can tell who runs the household - lol! : )

    OMG Shannon, another awesome project. I have two dogs, a black lab and a Belgium shepherd and need to make this for each of them. I wish I could make these right now, unfortunately I can't because I am recuperating from a partial knee replacement I had last Friday. I am so bored and want to get up and do some projects. Can't wait😩

    Hi, again! I am enjoying your videos and getting inspired to get my tools out, so thank you for that! I have a regular Skill brand jigsaw and wonder if it would work to cut circles like this. I believe you said in one of your videos that you have a special saw for cutting circles. Would you mind sharing about that with me? Thanks!

    We are getting a service dog for my son at the end of the year. When he is full grown, he'll be around 65lbs they said. He is currently 5.5 months old and will come home around a year.. Would you say your measurements that you used, would be a good fit for our dog? I love this!

    • @TheDailyDIYer

      Aw! Congrats! That's got to be so exciting! Mav is right around 65 lbs and this still works perfect for him so I'd say it'd be great for you guys too.

      If you have a router and a standard printer you could print the name out on the paper and then tape it to the wood and then just router the lettering out :) and then of course paint it

  • @mrscottanderson1
    @mrscottanderson1 3 года назад

    The holes look terrible. Next time find the center of your circle and use a router with a circle jig to cut the hole slightly smaller than your traced line so the bowls don't fall through
