The car is obviously stock judging by the way you didn't show the engine bay, this is no dream z, you can tell it needs a respray by the front bumper and it's off colour to the fenders in the first few shots while he was washing it, no interior shots as well or exhaust note this video is shocking, that aftermarket exhaust needs to be heard, but judging from how this car looks it's far from dream worthy, anyone who takes pride in there "build" shows all parts of the car not the exterior of a stock z, but you put the time and effort in and I respect that, next time remember cars need to be heard

As an ex AFG Nissan UK technician, I can always remember driving these from brand new. They we're..and still are (if looked after) a great car. Back in the day no-one had really heard of such a road going monster, with it's V6 twin turbo motor, 4 wheel drive & 4 wheel steering system, it was a car for the future. Not only was it rather powerful but it was luxurious too having all the extras. Nice vid & car ;)

Got two Twin Turbos: 90 Auto White, Stillen Body Kit, Wheels, Borla catback and test pipes, one piece driveshaft, etc. 92 5spd heavy bolt ons with factory look. These things are just badass! You have to spend at least 35k for a new car to compete with these! Selling auto unless someone is really looking for a sweet 5spd. If you dont like these you are either prejudice or never been in one. My first was back in 91 or 92...sold cause gf got preg...now divorced. Anyway they do take a little time but you dont have to be a rocket scientist; just be driven to work on your car. Hate that everyone says they are hard...not if you like working on cars. Heavy maintenance yes...cause tight tolerances for a sic car!!!! Just sayin... Dueces

The Targa roof ruins It... and the rear side windows Don't pop out'' and the rain spills straight into the driver...the seat belt are stuck in the doors and don' re-track and jam the closing'' fine the driver to know'' but you got tell everyone, watch the seat... The problems are endless... The shape's Is Great...
To those that will buy a Z soon or whenever, in 1990 the digital climate control is annoying because u can't control the direction of air flow. In 1991 Nissan corrected this by adding a little digital man LOL with moving arrows for u to select the air direction . There was also the non digital climate that u may come across that's fine , usually found in the convertible. Also the 90-91 had the tweed interior that I don't like, if you want to avoid the tweed interior and you prefer the swede go for the 92-96. Lastly in 90 they didn't put Nissan on the front in between the headlights which in my opinion made it look like something was missing, 91-96 has the front emblem. Something that small makes a big difference. I've owned 3 z's and I miss them 🤦♂️also I think the 94 is the best year to buy (new location for seatbelts ,rear spoiler changed and passenger airbag added). There's much more to say but these are the important issues to know.
Nice car. I have the same original color of car. I fortunately have a house and only hand wash mine. But when I did not have a house I brought my own bucket and sponges and did it. Air dry it around a few blocks on the road, good for wheels instead of just letting water soaking the brake area and then wiped everything off right away with absorb towels when I got to the apartment. Then put some clear auto magic shine on it with dry microfiber towel.
FUCK I miss my 300zx, shouldn't be watching these videos makes me sad, I can't wait to get another one, I bought mine when I was a little too young and they're expensive to keep on the road, mine was mint, over the 3 years I had it I loved and cared for it, had some good fun in it also went through quite a few sets of tyres.
Alex Hernandez my 300zx is in the shop this week. Clutch went out. After the tranny got pulled I decided to put in down pipes/test pipes. And my z is a 90 with 60k miles, so after getting the timing done the bill came out to $4,450 USD.

Call me crazy but I see a powerlacking n/a, with massive panel gaps everywhere and tire width more suitable for an mx5.. I mean ya its okay, but "Dream Z" is ambitious. Its just a base model with wheels..
nice ride... ADVICE: never ever ever ever ever ever use that SCRUB BRUSH @ those self cleaning spots. too many fine particulates in that brush messes up your paint. I learned that after I saw a bunch of HICKS that came back from "MUDDIN'". my 2cent$.

Yep, hand washing is the way to go to avoid micro scratches in the clear coat. Also it's a fun hobby. I spend all day detailing.

You might want to check the alignment of the hood and the front fender, the gaps are too large.
