I love the part where the fear takes over body control, which makes it hard for her to think straight to let off the gas to make it stop. Hahahahaha This is by far the best GTR Reaction I have ever seen with GTR Launch control.

To anyone who hasn't experienced this, it's a whole new experience, you've got to try it. I had a buddy who had a 750 hp mustang gt 2006. It put lines at the sides of my vision when we accelerated.

Heres a little engineering lesson for all those people talking about 'automatic transmissions'. The GTR as with other more expensive supercars uses an "automated dual clutch transmission". It is NOT automatic. There is definately no torque converter here. There is still a clutch (2 of them) no clutch pedal, yes, but this eliminates driver error and dramatically speeds up shift time. Essentially there's two gearboxes in the same housing. Clutch one and layshaft one are linked with gears 1, 3 & 5. Clutch two and layshaft two are linked with gears 2, 4 & 6. Only one clutch is engaged at any one time and the next gear is pre selected on the other layshaft. So when that shifter paddle is pulled that signal is sent electrically to the Transmission ECU which operates an actuator and hydraulically operates the first cluch disengaging it. A very short time later the other clutch is engaged with the next gear already selected. To the driver it seems like there is no break in the drive. This gearbox type coupled with an awesome engine and turbo setup = brutal acceleration
At least you seem to know your stuff... when browsing for a GTR what do I need to look out for.. since most descriptions would say automatic/manual or would your description apply to all the "automatics". I would agree that you would get a better experience in a manual for sport racing experience( if you can drive) but to me just being in a skyline like this is phenomenal & kick-ass!

Ma we know that is a manual gearbox with two clutches operated by a computer that means is automatic the car change gears by itself, in a truth manual transition you use the gear stick and the clutch to change gears so you can rev match and all that funny stuff yourself
+Abhinav Narta. Why don't people understand that it is a MANUAL gearbox albeit it's """AUTOMATED""". If you accelerate in first gear and don't flick the padle to change up it WON'T change. You'll bounce the needle off the limiter until the engine blows. The definition of an automatic is that when the conditions are correct I.e revs of the engine, gearbox input speed, output speed, actual vehicle speed and throttle position the gearbox will change up or down a gear even if you don't want it to. It will do it regardless. SEMI AUTOMATIC gives you the ability to override this, within certain limits, to change up or down a gear sooner or slightly later. I.e a TIPTRONIC GEARBOX. If you red line on acceleration though it will change gear. An automatic gearbox does not have a clutch. Torque is transferred from the engine to the gearbox via a torque converter. The GTR has a clutch.... 2 of them. So it is NOT AUTOMATIC. What makes me sad is that 99% of the people who own one don't understand what they're driving. They have money and that's it. That's why the car doesn't interest me. I'd have one given the money but I'd take a mint R34 in midnight purple any day. Then take ages deciding where to spend the huge amount of money I'd have left over and have twice the power not to mention it looks soon much better.
Christopher Latham you just said it "it's a manual transmission automated " that means it change gears by it self or you don't have to use the clutch pedal to change gears, what I mean is its al about driving pleasure and non automated transmission are better in my opinion than these double clutch gearboxes

She and my dad 76 took it on a road trip, some guy in a Toyota was trying to follow them (I know. I think he wanted to see it in action). When I got back home with my sisters she said she got up to 130!!🤪 ever since I can remember my parents owned sports cars and would load us kids in the back. Good times!!

track wise, no. The vette is in a different league of performance. The GTR is only good in a straight line.

How cruel and unjust the world of cars is. I'm a raging car fanatic and am stuck driving my mom's awful Explorer(until I get my 1st car) and this person is driving a GT-R and doesn't even know if she need to steer.
At least she looks like she's enjoying herself, most people who buy these cars don't appreciate them as much as the people who can't afford them, like us LOL.
