I just don't understand Indians crying over 45+ temperatures.
45-48 degree celcius is common across various parts of India. While growing up, I have regularly observed 47-49 temperatures.
In fact, extreme weather (hot and cold) has been in steady decline since 2016.

There are so many factors in climatic conditions. As you said, humidity is one.
However, I have seen people go bonkers over normal climatic conditions.
