Sadly this is common in relationships. I've heard stories about how one spouse is very successful and the other who isn't gets jealous and resentment and spite build within the atmosphere of the relationship overtime. Instead of praise the success of their partner, they fall into their own insecurities about their lack of success and take that bitterness out on the person who does want to help them. And in this case, made all the worse that Penny only wanted to validate herself in the eyes of Leonard rather than actually sticking to her guns and doing her best since she allowed her insecurities to push her emotions so far.

I have an English degree and I've helped so many of my friends with papers. Some of them have been like, really bad writers - genuinely bad! - but I never took it upon myself to rewrite their papers for them. I'd just correct them and make as many suggestions as possible - pointing out how to improve their thesis, suggesting more evidence to back up said thesis, highlighting their corrected formatting (since formatting counts so much in academic papers, it's one thing you should learn), telling them when they need to expand on an idea, etc. - no, they didn't always get A's on papers - and I always told them what grade they'd roughly get and made it clear that I was willing to help them work to an A paper if that was their goal - but I did notice over time as I helped them with papers, they became better writers. Moral of the story is that writing is a skill and like everything else, it can be improved with time and dedication. I know this show was a comedy, but I don't think that meant they had to shy away from the idea of actual character growth.

So in reality Bernnie was always mean and bossy, she's just really good at hiding it until she doesn't care anymore.

I hate reading stuff it's so stressful In my university my grade is based on Numbers not on Letters like A+, A, A-,etc. but when converted into a Letter Grade my Grade would probably be the same as Penny's a B-
One time, when I was in graduate school, I was working with three other people on a group project. One of them was more or less the leader because she passively aggressively objected to any idea the rest of of us had, so we were forced to do what she wanted. She took it upon herself to write the paper that would be turned in after our class presentation. When she showed it to us I was astonished. It was written in the style of a seventh grader who had been told to use a certain number of words, and had therefore padded every sentence with adjectives and adverbs, and restated every point, to get the word count up. It was terrible. And this was maybe three days before it was due. I finally asserted myself and asked her to let me take it and "punch it up a little". I think I spent close to forty eight straight hours trying to produce a decent, scholarly paper.
I have experienced this recently. Had a pretty straight forward programming project. One guy decides to take the lead and do everything. He would not send the code for us to review or help out because he said he had everything taken care of. He sent it to us 3 days before it was to be submitted. It worked, but barely. I found multiple bugs that we couldn't figure out how to fix and we handed it in anyway. We now know what not to do for any future projects.
The purpose of having to engage in group projects in academic settings...is as much about learning how to cope with different personalities in group settings, as it is about completing whatever project the group has been assigned. If not more.

This is a classic example of how Leonard and Penny's relationship has always been Leonard always appreciates Penny and does SO MUCH to help her even though she shows no appreciation for what he does. An odd segment. Still good as they all are. Just odd. The Prop Master to this show created a lot you would think just existed. Even their 3-D chess set was made for the show. Howard's space toilet. Every bit of food that appeared almost in every scene was real & cooked by the Prop Master who was already a chef. Feeding cast & crew. Brownies was written into the script to extort a batch of brownies out of their Prop Master. Those pies that Penny, Amy, Leonard & Sheldon were pie eating in competition when Howard popped in fresh from space. All great stuff. Super in love with Pria.
Firstly, Leonard should not have plagiarised her work. Yes I am aware of a lot of commenters stating it’s no big deal but it is. What if he found out his brother had copied his work for his brothers professional gain. Secondly, She is right. She wanted to have self worth and Leonard took that away from her by doing her work for her and she gained no personal achievement from it. Thirdly and importantly, the girls HELPED her. She asked them to help her with the report. They did not write it for her. They most likely explained what was happened at the time and she took what she needed like a quick refresher course.

It highlights a good point, don't assume you are doing a good thing for someone, because it could be seen as condescending, people should not do work for others like that context because, it is about knowing them self they can do whatever they choose to succeed in, if someone does it for them how will that give them self confidence. Believe me my experience it is bad even people are over protecting, assuming they won't be good at something and then being condescending or doing the work for them, it is a bad human trait to be them things, you would end up being a loner if you do it to one or more people 👍

She got mad at Leonard because somehow she feels Leonard (who's opinion of her matters to her) doesn't consider her as smart person , whereas she is ok with Amy and Bernadette because first they already hold a high opinion of her for doing her work and secondly she doesn't care what they think. One time, when I was in graduate school, I was working with three other people on a group project. One of them was more or less the leader because she passively aggressively objected to any idea the rest of of us had, so we were forced to do what she wanted. She took it upon herself to write the paper that would be turned in after our class presentation. When she showed it to us I was astonished. It was written in the style of a seventh grader who had been told to use a certain number of words, and had therefore padded every sentence with adjectives and adverbs, and restated every point, to get the word count up. It was terrible. And this was maybe three days before it was due. I finally asserted myself and asked her to let me take it and "punch it up a little". I think I spent close to forty eight straight hours trying to produce a decent, scholarly paper.
I have experienced this recently. Had a pretty straight forward programming project. One guy decides to take the lead and do everything. He would not send the code for us to review or help out because he said he had everything taken care of. He sent it to us 3 days before it was to be submitted. It worked, but barely. I found multiple bugs that we couldn't figure out how to fix and we handed it in anyway. We now know what not to do for any future projects.
How did it go?
The purpose of having to engage in group projects in academic settings...is as much about learning how to cope with different personalities in group settings, as it is about completing whatever project the group has been assigned. If not more.

An odd segment. Still good as they all are. Just odd. The Prop Master to this show created a lot you would think just existed. Even their 3-D chess set was made for the show. Howard's space toilet. Every bit of food that appeared almost in every scene was real & cooked by the Prop Master who was already a chef. Feeding cast & crew. Brownies was written into the script to extort a batch of brownies out of their Prop Master. Those pies that Penny, Amy, Leonard & Sheldon were pie eating in competition when Howard popped in fresh from space. All great stuff. Super in love with Pria.
Firstly, Leonard should not have plagiarised her work. Yes I am aware of a lot of commenters stating it’s no big deal but it is. What if he found out his brother had copied his work for his brothers professional gain.
Secondly, She is right. She wanted to have self worth and Leonard took that away from her by doing her work for her and she gained no personal achievement from it.
Thirdly and importantly, the girls HELPED her. She asked them to help her with the report. They did not write it for her. They most likely explained what was happened at the time and she took what she needed like a quick refresher course.
