That is a great question. I believe you are pretty stuck. I would try saving and closing Revit and hopefully after reopening you can access it. Other than that, clearing cache files might be the only answer but I am unfortunately less help when it comes to that.
Hi I had a problem in revit, while joining the beam with column one error popped up ' cant keep elements joined' i have tried everything to resolve it. But not succeed. Please help.. If possible please make video on this.
This is a very common issue, Depending on how the elements come together, it may not work all the time. You can try cutting the element and pasting in same place and trying to join again.

how to attach steel beam (From Library) with Roof or Floor Slab
Beams unfortunately cannot be attached to other elements in this sense. There are only beam/column joins that you can use instead.

Attaching elements can keep elements together when moving one for the objects. It makes modeling easier at times.
