I found the perfect tree outside my bedroom window to make and hang the cute butterfly 🦋
you showed us how to make. We have a huge yard with various gardens, but nothing is on the left nook of space outside my window. I have a fatal brain disease and spend a lot of time in my bedroom. My husband is decorating and putting in a shade garden, so I can look out and see it. Thank you for this idea! I’m gonna make my neighbors one too! 🦋
I would paint the butterfly in glow in the dark paint. I love them all.
I think the stepping stone mash didn't have enough water. It should be more of a thick cake batter consistency.
Cute ideas!
Thanks for the tip!
That was also my recommendation. You may be able to sprinkle water on the two that didn’t break and solidify them better without crumbles. I know they will attract water from the rain and watering but I think you want them set up before they get washed away. Also with the extra water in the cement to start with you can shake or pat the rocks down so they help hold the cement together before it becomes concrete. If you add too much water you can add more cement to thicken it up. Brownie consistency is what 😊you are looking for. Even cake batter will cure to be solid.
EXACTLY❤
Yup. Way to dry
I agree. Concrete needs water to set. A pancake mix consistency would have been better
I really love the projects that incorporate light! The crystals that reflect rainbows everywhere always make me smile. So clever! 🧡💜
😍🥰🌈💗💗💗
I loved the butterfly out of hangers! Thanks for creating! Keep it going on!
Thank you! Will do!
Your butterfly turned out so pretty!😊 Y'all's stepping stones are so pretty! Such a fun project to do with our kids!❤ That painted globe is absolutely gorgeous!❤
Hey there my girl I had that same idea with the pool noodles in the bottom of my planter and oh my goodness. It started too mold everything was molink and my plant died so I guess if you're going to use the noodles. Please make sure you have a lot of drainage in your pot. So that it does not sit there and get stagnant. love you honey❤😅
I lived All of the projects!
You have such great idea 💡👍 Butterfly 🦋 is so rasy and beautiful 😍
Raspberry bushes like clay acidic soil and they should be planted in the ground as they need to spread their arms (branches) be sure to clip sucker branches...they grow wild on my property along with wild blueberries a d yes, my soil is clay soil
Thanks for the advice! Clearly I need it 😆
Agree!! and there may be chemicals in the plastic that will leach out in soil and then into berries.
It is best to use all potting soil in your pots but you can put cut down limbs or dried leaves in the bottom of your pots. The wood and leaves will break down and be completely fine for your plants.
@@angelapeck9269 how do you test your soil? I’ve new to the gardening world and have read about what different plants and vegetables need in the soil to grow. But haven’t figured how to actually test it yet. Thank you for any help or suggestions or advice.
@Mrs Rawc, you can either buy soil testing kits or get them from your County Extension Office.
Love love your craft ideas all so pretty goinng to make for memorial day for my mom dad sis and bro loved them all.
With those pretty little gazing ball thing, I would put a light coat of white spray paint after you get done with the alcohol inks so it makes the colors pop more and it would diffuse the fairy lights. I think that would just be the chefs kiss with that
Love the tree hanging, and the water feature!
Love all your ideas, my favorite was the fountain
The alcohol ink would be so pretty on clear glass for pendant lights
What a great idea 😍
I made a crystal hanging basket a few years ago. It turned out beautifully. Just wanted to say to check it from time to time as the metal from the beads is flimsy and will rust and deteriorate if kept out in the weather. I remade it with fishing wire and then someone stole it from my property, along with several very large metal flowers purchased at Costco. 😢
Oh no 💔 They must have really caught someone’s eye. Thanks for the tip of using fishing line 😍
😢
All these crafts were so fun. My grandkids and I made the stepping stones a few years ago. Your mix needed to be wetter and yes you need the mix without the stones. We decorated them with stones and some, after they dried, painted designs on them. Then sealed them with an outdoor clear coat. They are still in my garden and are 12 years old now. Still looking good.
Loved the fountain! I might try this using a splatter screen from $ tree on top of the foam so in the fall it might be easier to remove the rocks and clean it out.
Great suggestion!
Oh my!!! These are all so awesome. All were my favorites!!! Thank you for sharing these!!!
Neat! You have an abundance of creativity. Thanks for sharing!
Shannon I love love love the butterfly it's beautiful
Shannon I loved all of your DIY'S I will definitely be making all of these.
Now that I know that I have everything I need. Once again thanks for everything you have shown us. Your the best 👌 👍 😍 ❤.
You’re the best too!! Thank you 🥰🌈💗
All of these are great. I love the tree chandelier, the butterfly, the stepping stone and the fountain. The fountain diy is timely as I'm planning to make one for my hummingbirds and songbirds.
😍😍😍
I'm really digging the beautiful butterfly...
Definitely the solar fountain, the last one!👍👍👍
Oooh love the chandelier I might add some glow in the dark glass beads maybe? My favorite is the water fountain!
Absolutely Love ALL of Them⛲️🦋 You blow me away every time with your creativity!!! TY
🦋💗🦋
I like all of those. I'm going to share this video because my sister likes butterflies and this is going to be cool for her. I enjoy watching your videos
OMG that butterfly is just too cute ❤❤
I love the stepping stones and butterfly.
I liked them all but i love fountains !
We’ve made lots of stepping stones and I agree with previous comment, I think more water makes the end product a better outcome. We use the quikrete. I like the idea of using the cake or pie tins. I have also used the plastic plant saucers for molds and they work great. We have used the small ones at a birthday party so all of the children got to make a small garden stone to take home.
Absolutely brilliant ideas love them
You have the greatest ideas. I m so excited to get started this year with your easy day's. Just awesome. Thank you for sharing so much. Most importantly that your family joined in 😊
Loved the butterflies!!!! Going to Dollar Tree now to get the hangers. Thanks! ♥️
Black berries will grow crazy on you, prune yearly. The more water, the bigger the berries❤
The butterfly and the water fountain! Both adorable!!
Thank you!
I wonder what stringing fairy lights around with the beads on the wheel would look like!!
Oh that would be cute!
The butterfly was my favorite! Beautiful 😍🦋
Thank you 🦋💗
Great idea 💡 thank you
Loved the fountain
I love the butterfly. I think it turned out great.
I love the arbor you made for your blackberry bush!
Thanks!
Love the butterfly and the chandelier 💜💜💜
💗💜💗💜💗
I ❤ the butterfly and the stepping stones the best. I love your videos ❤
Loved the butterfly one. Gonna have to make some of those!
🦋🦋🦋🦋
I loved the butterfly and the chandelier and will definitely be making them soon! As for the blackberry bush, here in Oregon they hardly need any help and just take over! It's cool though because I also love blackberries. Thanks for sharing!
Also, from Portland, I agree completely. They can take over so be careful where you grow them. They will overtake the fence. Had a leaning wooden fence because the neighbors' blackberries just took over.
The water fountain is my favorite
Just ordered the crystals. Got 2 packs for making 2 of them. Gonna look great on my patio! ❤
Yay!! I’ve been enjoying the rainbows every sunny day 🌈💗 hope you do too
Love the butterfly! Me & my granddaughter will be doing this when she comes this weekend.. Thanks
Love the butterfly and the fountain!
I liked the upside-down planter with the one lawn light and the prisms. Also, I did like the one with the butterfly hangers. And the water fountain. Thanks for all your suggestions on different things we could do outside. I'm so filled with the excitement of what I can do outside. I don't get this excited anymore but I have gotten it back, could it be spring fever? I honestly think it is. Love your channel.
I really liked the beaded bicycle wheel hanging from your tree. Just so beautiful with all the different colors!! I also really like the fountain at the end. Thank you!❤
Thank you so much!🌈💗
The butterfly and the wreath were my favorite!
I’m still struggling with my blackberries. I believe you will not get fruit from first year canes. I got mine last year, no fruit. I didn’t prune it before the “colder” weather came ( I live in Florida) but I have all new canes. My plant is nice and full but no fruit. I’m hoping next year will be the year. Good luck sweetie. Dollar Tree plates are almost indestructible unless you take a hammer to them. I tell my family when they compliment my Christmas plates to never sleep on the tree. My sister-in-law was amazed that my dishes were from Dollar Tree. Love the stepping stones. I’ve made 3 gazing balls and they’re in my garden. When the sun hits the gems it looks so beautiful. Great video. Tfs. Have a great afternoon.🤗
Absolutely love the butterfly hangers
The water fountion is my favorite. A close second is the bowl colored with alcohol ink & lit with fairy lights. Thanks for great outdoor ideas!
The solar light globes reminded me of some old folklore. It is said that putting colored glass objects outdoors (think bottles but those lights work too) upside down. Then at night when evil spirits are lurking about (ohhhhhh😂), they get curious about the colors and go inside to investigate, but become trapped inside the glass. Of course, when the sun rises next morning ☀️ the sun’s rays destroy the evil spirit, thereby protecting yoir home. Thats where bottle trees come from. Just fun stuff! ❤
Hi Shannon, I love all of your projects, they all look beautiful. I can’t pick a favourite. The stepping stones look awesome, such a shame about the concrete, I hope you make more of them. I think they are one of the first that I’m going to try. Everything all look great and all look easy to do. I think I can get all, or most of the items I need at one of our so called cheap shops, I’m going to go out hunting now. Your son had a ball making the stepping stones. I think my grandchildren will love helping to make some of these. Thank you for sharing all of these projects.
That butterfly is darling. I’m looking for crafts for my granddaughters this summer. I like the way YOU finish inside the planter I don’t like that unfinished look. Thank You.
Enjoy the time with your granddaughters 💗💗💗
My fav would have to be the water foundation, easy and affordable
These were all such fun projects Shannon!! Good luck on the berry bush... I don't know anything about them.. LOL!! 😁👍😁👍🤗🤗
Loved the chandelier and berry about, heck I loved them all!!! Butterfly is genius!
You’re the sweetest 💗 Thanks Kellie 🤗
Love the butterfly hanger project I will be making these
I like the glass one with the paint and the butterfly I enjoy your videos.😊
Your creativity amazes me!
Thank you! 😊
I love the butterfly, I'm about to go make it now!❤❤❤
Enjoy 🦋🦋🦋
Using the pool noodle pieces in the bottom of the pot with genius. It actually allows for water drainage so you won’t don’t overwater if you put too much water in
Everything is so beautiful! I’ve been wanting to do a fountain ⛲️ Thank you for sharing and have a blessed evening. 😘❤️🤗🙏🏻 Lisa
This one is super easy too! Hope you give it a try! Hugs to you Lisa 🤗💗
My favorite is the chandelier!! I can see putting crystals on the top ring too.
The chandelier was my favorite! You gave me an idea for my front porch. I'll let you know if it works! Thanks for the inspiration 😊

Dang how cool is this butterfly
I enjoyed the outdoor chandelier & the solar water fountain. ❤
I'm trying to get rid of our blackberries. Very invasive! I think the light with the hanging pendants may be my favorite.
I really like the water fountain 😍!!
I love the butterfly wreath..thanks!!
Favorite=The fountain.
Thanks!
Loved the water fountain!!!!
Such cute ideas. I absolutely love the butterfly. I'm going have to create some.
Would love to see if you do!
@@TheDailyDIYer I'll send a picture of it to you when I do it.
I loved all of these! I made the solar fountain and used one of those whiskey barrel planter for mine! I ordered the fountain and it was missing a piece, so I email the company and they sent it to me. I love my fountain 😊♥ Thank you so much for sharing this!!
Oh that’s a cute idea 😍😍😍 Glad the company made it right for you
How did you waterproof the interior of your barrel? I've been wanting to make a fountain from a half barrel for some time but was unsure of all the details to make it work properly.
@@christinaheagy4602 Well, I used a plastic whiskey barrel that I got from Family dollar. I just used a lot of the pool noodles, cutting them up. Oh, I used another plastic pot from FD for the middle. I wanted to make sure it fit, so I set it up in the store
I love the gazing ball! I want to get my yard decorated so that it looks beautiful and this ball will fit in perfectly.
Enjoy making your own 💗
You are a talented, creative lady. Thank you for these ideas.
Love the chandelier. I would either trim off the little end piece of the light, or maybe add a longer crystal from it.
WOW I love the butterfly diy. Then the crystalsare my favorites. Most of all all are Just as great. Thx for sharing, beautiful lady
So cool…all of these ideas are cool…thank you😊
The stepping stone needed more water and mixed way better. The butterfly with hangers are so pretty and a good way to use old hangers!! ❤
I love the water, one with the water and less pool noodles and the river rocks
I loved the beaded whimsical hanging decorations. Of course I love anything beaded.
I love that you used alcohol inks in this video. I make, and sell, handmade, custom press on nails and I use alcohol inks often. I absolutely love that you're able to get a completely unique look every single time, and no two items look the same. I, also, love how quickly it dries. Just a heads up with any metallic, shimmery, pearlescent (basically any inks with other products mixed in) inks, they will need a REALLY hard shake at first. The pigments will settle to the bottom, and basically clump together, so you will need to shake them hard before you use them for the first time. Especially if the manufacturer used mica powders. If you've never used mica powder; it is basically one of the most finely milled pigments, and once it hits a liquid and sits for awhile, it forms one big clump of powder. After that, you'll be able to give them a gentle shake before each use and be ready to go, unless you leave them sitting for long periods of time. 😊
Liked all of your ideas
With the solar light use some flower foam, the stuff the put flower arrangements in! It will raise the light to brighten it up better!
I love the butterfly 🦋🦋🦋❤
Oh my gosh and I love that butterfly. You are so creative. Thank you so very much for sharing this. Much love to you 🌹🤗🌷❣️
Love the butterfly 🦋 my favorite! ❤
Raspberry plants need to go in the ground. They will spread on there own. Mine only get half a day if sun. So a shaded spot will be perfect. Next to the house, shed, trees n such. Good luck. I love all four projects. Thanks for sharing.
I love the chandelier!!!
Thank you!
Enjoyed light DIY's
If you are planting in an oversized pot, you can use the pool noodles or crushed soda cans, then for a plant with thinner roots, a piece of screen should be laid on top of the cans or pool noodles.
The cement was too thick, that was the reason it was so crumbly. I used to make stepping stones for sale, and you have to think "Cake batter" when mixing it.
If you plan to actually walk on the stones, you should use a concrete with more pebbles in the mix, and lay a screen down half way through pouring in the pan.
So mix, screen then mix. It helps give the stone strength, I used window screen.
