Alexander Dennis Limited ( Alexander Dennis) Enviro 400 EV ( Electric Vehicle) Seen in Blackpool (Market Street) While operating a Service 14 Blackpool- Fleetwood via Layton, Carleton, Thornton, Broadwater.
Blackpool Transport Services (BTS) are upgrading there fleet by September 2025 with a full Zero Emissions fleet of 90 EV buses which consist of 50 Double Decks and 40 Single Decks.
Today 05.06.24 it was doing a day's service work of 05:00-18:15 Starred on 100% 🔋Battery at 5am and by 1815 it had a remaining of 25% left.
Tomorrow 06.06.24/ Friday 07.06.24 BTS was holding a road show Going through out the Fylde coast showing the residents of the new vehicle, unfortunately that has been Prosponed with no new date as of yet.
BTS has not announced there new livery or brand for these EV although one has been decided.
They will be doing ordering of 10 EV at at time with the first 10 just been submitted.
