    I've only really tuned Hondas. I'm pretty well known in my area for it, but because everyone always brings me up I now have others asking me to tune or look at their tune.
    I've never messed with ecumaster so was looking for a quick and dirty run down of the set up. Definitely got more than that here.
    Great video. I really appreciate it and the time you took to make it.

    Can’t wait to watch this video a few more times and get started building map for my 1.5JZ. I’m newish to the aftermarket ecu world, the car came with an old Stinger EMS and I’ve since upgraded to the EMU black. The range of possibilities and tuning potential are super exciting! I’m sure I’ll be commenting back with questions.

    Just a heads up… IAT sensor is mandatory to run on speed density setup, the ecu uses the IAT & the map sensors to calculate how much O2 is in the mix. If you don’t connect the IAT it will run at the default temp & your fuelling will be horrible

    paired injection doesnt fire twice per ignition, just two cylinders get fuel at the same time and the one gets burned almost instantly and the other fuel charge sits on top of the intake valve until its opened.

    • @RabidJz
      @RabidJz  Год назад

      What i meant was a pair of injectors fire batched per ignition event. If 2 injectors are firing together, they will fire twice per ignition cycle, is what i meant to say

    So I’ve got my EMU Black setup on my NA-T 2JZ, and I’ve got the timing set while cranking. But I cant get the car to actually start. It might fire off one cylinder every now and then while cranking but it refuses to start. Any ideas?

    • @RabidJz
      @RabidJz  Год назад +1

      Make sure it says synchronized on the software when cranking. If its synchronized, make sure you have sufficient fuel. If you do, then you must check independent firing order on injectors and coils using the test function on the software.

    Thank you for the video. Liked and subscribed. :)
    I'm currently in the process of retuning my 1jz-gte non vvti.
    I've always had random missfires at idle since i got the car. What seemed to fix this is changing from rising edge to falling edge. Obviously have to verify the actual trigger angle.
    Any specific reason for running rising edge as you say in the video?
    Another thing I fixed the in the tune is injector size from 600cc to actual ev14 850cc (specified and tested). I'm getting VE-numbers at idle of 70% which i think should be alot lower. I would think it should be between 30-50%.
    What kind of VE do you typicaly have at idle?
    My engine is stock except 62mm single turbo, fuelsystem, old EMU classic.
    I like your content. Keep it up :)
