Lina inspired us many ways. I was watching her both grand slams from TV. I really pushed myself out felt like I am Lina who gonna win. The result were both the winner. Lina, you are such a special player with warm heart. I am sure you will help others with your best ever. There is no way to see same of Lina , but we wish to see similar of Lina , in the near future. Love you, Lina from Vancouver, Canada.

There is no shortage of talents in China. The problem is in the bureaucracy. In my humble opinion, Li Na could have achieved more, far more, much much more, had she not stopped for a while during her career. I admire, always admire, both she and her husband in their will to achieve on their own. That was brilliant. Without a doubt, there will be better tennis players coming from China. However, she will forever be the first Chinese Grand Slam holder.

I cannot believe the Japanese are going to take credit for Naomi Osaka's success. This is ridiculous. She is an American, raised and taught tennis by AMERICANS. On her Wikipedia page, it literally says her Japanese grandfather disowned them. I don't understand how an individual can be so ostracized in a country and yet still feel such strong ties to it. The Japanese Tennis Federation has done nothing during the early part of her career to promote and foster her success. This is BS and a slap to the coaches who trained her growing up.

But in international sports, Russia is never Asian. And Sharapova's parents are from Belarus. She was even conceived in Belarus.
