I am even more delighted to know how this interaction between the two have, glaringly, highlighted my own bias that all bandits, high and low, are nothing but scoundrels and illiterate thugs! I hope my feelings about this is on the mark.

why don't you do a biography of who Feng Meglong was, or any other legend from the other series, because we foreigners who like your series with martial fights, with history and culture, will appreciate some information to help understand this culture so diverse and rich.
Great movie 👍👍 Just a true history, decent set enviroment of that era and proper Hanfu's. Lots of Moral lesson here, where the offical ruler tend to corrupt everywhere, but the honest one are loves by the people. This movie don't need crazy flying around and explotion effect, already good.
