    I wonder what kind of mileage that tamper would get if you converted it to a pogo stick.

    • @motoforlyfe
      @motoforlyfe  10 лет назад

      It might not do too bad provided you could actually even make it a mile on that thing! :)

    They are somewhat common and the shows around here, but I realized that may not be the case elsewhere!

    Just needs some higher octane fuel!!!

    • @RavenTheLabrador
      @RavenTheLabrador 2 года назад

      It originally has ots own brand of fuel sold for it exclusively back when this was sold. The closest thing to the fuel they had for it and what will give you the best results when using a hop rod is naphtha gas I'm pretty sure that the original fuel was something very similar if not actually just naphtha gas.

    • @RavenTheLabrador
      @RavenTheLabrador 2 года назад

      This actually doesn't run very well with just gas like that of what you put in a car it almost doesn't do much of anything to be honest but put in some naphtha gas and you will have a much better time on the hop rod to anyone who has one.🙂👍✌

    The hop rod used its own brand and blend of gas it wasn't actually gas like that of what you put in your car. The closest thing to what they made and used in the hop rod is naphtha gas that you can still buy today and use in it. If you put that in the hop rod you will get a much better result and ride its much more powerful and gives you a ride almost exactly like the original hop rog gas they made and sold for the hop rod back in the day. Anyways empty the gas out and put in naphtha gas and I guarantee you that you will have a much better time / ride on the hop rod. 🙂👍✌

  • @motoforlyfe
    @motoforlyfe  12 лет назад

    The tamper weights 200 lbs I think it could, it would flatten it on your foot and then you'd be stuck!

    • @RavenTheLabrador
      @RavenTheLabrador 2 года назад

      Not exactly i have one as well and have had it since it was new still have an original can of its fule and the closest thing to what it was is naphtha gas use that on it today and it gives a great ride much better than with just gas you put in a car.🙂👍✌

      They had their own mixed fuel you could buy called pogo go.

  • @ricksbulbs

    Just another example of the versatility of the 2-stroke engine, and this shows just how stupid, ridiculous, and frankly, "Rube Goldberg" the 4-stroke is! Just imagine these as 4-strokes--it'd pop on one jump then miss on the next! People tell me how "refined" 4-strokes are and how "crude" 2 strokes are, but they've got it backwards. 4-strokes just have alot more moving parts to make alot less power, and efficiency--the oil industry just LOVES them! Junk is Junk, and 4 strokes are JUNK!

    • @TimpBizkit
      @TimpBizkit 2 года назад

      7he issue with 2 strokes is how to avoid wasting fuel out the exhaust when you take in the petrol and air mixture. They are also less durable on average.
