I wasn't quite used to the Mk7's Heavy 1 swing angle in the previous run with this weapon a while back but I've practiced a bit more and it's honestly a fun stress free weapon to fool around with. I've been on a Martyrdom binge lately on Zealot so here's a return to Blazing Piety to make the most out of a fun Crit Bolter as well.
The other Heavy Sword Variants normally have a separate horde and single target combo, but the Mk7 is unique in that regard. You can optionally use the Special - Heavy 1 combo for both horde and single target if you've dialed in the baseball bat swing-like angle of the Heavy 1. It's honestly kind of hilarious seeing the Heavy 1 come out and all sorts of targets short of a Crusher/Monster just keel over or get punted by the swing.
If you're wondering how I have different sights on my guns, skins on weapons you haven't seen before or weapons on mine and others' backs it's from the Extended Weapon Customization mod that's available on NexusMods in the Darktide Section.

Mk7 has been my overall favorite ever since they buffed it. Heavy1 is brutal. Special stuns Crushers (and mauler/maniac, but that isn't always needed). Big sweeping cleaves give it great horde clear. Unusually great against Mutants (usually 2-shots with heavies, I think?)
Bolbgun pairs great, giving that extra armor-killing when needed, and Throwing Knives rounds things out by letting you kill specials without the slow-motion Bolbgun draw time (did they ever change that?)
Build is near identical to the one I use too. The one difference is I think you'd get way more value in an arranged group by running the Team Crit Buff (the very bottom branch) rather than the Self Crit Buff. You only need one player who's as good as you and they're getting equal value (10% crit) to the self-buff, but if you have a full team of skilled people then it pulls way in the lead. I mean crits building stacks is nice too, but when you're Damnation+ the buff is kinda up 24/7 anytime there's meaningful action. (The team path has 50% toughness when it's triggered, but that too isn't very useful most of the time.)

You know with the zealot being a melee build having a bit of fun.
He si able too comepletely level hordes too the tightest end.
The zealot has good range with the weapon perks aswell as the skilled knives and the stun grenades.
As a level 23 zealot i had fun building this woman has a lot of since i first started using the veteran.
He was my first, this was fun too except the fact i had ran out of ammo so fast. The next was having being slaughterd by the DH many times.
having made my zealot level 22, i faught a DH alongside some companions, i used the zealot's skill that gives toughness and pulses the ground, By the Emperors' Divine Word.
We slew that DH and made it through the rest of the assasination mission hahaha.

What I don't like about the heavy swords is that they have no gore. It just feels like a pointy stick that SHOULD decapitate someone but it just doesn't.

I think that’s recently a problem with the overall game. I’m running the game completely maxed out with maxed out gibbing, gore, and rag dolls too and I’m noticing bodies don’t get obliterated even from a charged up thunder hammer strike. (no visible chunks of metal removed from a mauler for example)

Unfortunately that’s how spastic Zealot can be while flinging around a mouse at 1800dpi. I’ve put camera sway down to 0% and this is as non wobbly as I can make it :(
